We expect 5 to 6 more earthquakes on the pacific ring of fire, 3 of then reaching the 8 magnitude and one of 9.5 magnitude, probably different locations... Stay hungry, don't go to bed, there is a chance of 50/50 the 9.5M could hit offshore Los Angeles, near Santa Catalina Island, generating a very destructive wave. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32008943 I think you're right. Seismos going off everywhere, all over the world, barely got that bad after Japan and many are still ringing strong. Kilauea volcano in Hawaii continues to bubble up more lava, been watching the lava height and surface temp go up for two days. It seems impossible that such a violent chain of activity in one place wouldn't lead to larger destabilization. The recent history of this spot alone must be indicative of a larger ongoing movement. |

Some how i believe this all related! I fear our alpine fault lone with runs along our south island will slip!! People stay safe. :) |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32008943 sorry, but El Q, dosent really seem to know as much as people thinks, he comes on and predicts a large earthquake, somewhere in the world:), he never comes on shortly before quakes such as these to say large quake on way. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32008943 There could be 9.5's around the world, but not off the coast of California, slip faults rarely generate anything much bigger than an 8.0, the big Alaskan quake of 1964 was not a slip fault, it was a convergent plate quake. |
