I appreciate your response. What I do know for sure is that organized religions are a farce to keep people divided and constantly guessing, so I probably...most likely won't be going to a cathloic church to do that. I know that NO MAN can save me, no mere mortal human.. And Holy Water is simply the same fluoridated water you can turn your tap on to get. The priest that blessed it probably likes small children to. I am not being a troll or an asshole but I think no one is worthy enough to bless water.

Have faith in Jesus Christ, treat others with love, love God, repent and read your Bible. Salvation is through faith in Jesus. Spend some time everyday praying to the Father in Jesus' name.

Definitely avoid the Catholic church. It's corrupt to the core.

My advice would actually be to go talk to a priest or a minister. (I take issue with the corruption of the Catholic church, but it's not a popular stance these days - I see the corruption as the work of the devil trying to destroy his biggest threat - as it has been foretold. But the bad deeds of men don't lessen the richness of 2000 years of its history that goes back to the first apostles and to Jesus himself. In my opinion, it is the quickest and best way to get to Jesus - it was set up by Jesus for US because we are tangible, physical beings, so the Church gives us the sacraments and the beauty that speak to us - that make our encounters with Christ more 'real.' Seriously, you walk into an old Catholic Church and you can feel Christ present - and that's what church is about, isn't it? But I understand why so many people have issues, so you could always go to an Episcopal minister or a Reformed or Lutheran pastor, or an Evangelical - just to talk about your concerns.)

If you think you might be fighting a spiritual battle - like maybe you need to purge some bad spirits, then a priest/exorcist would be the one you should talk to. Not because Jesus won't forgive you, but because you might need extra help fighting the enemy.

Jesus is all merciful. But you should think about repenting. Think about praying the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy - it's very powerful and was given to us by Jesus to pray for forgiveness. Here's some info:

I thought about that aswell, like I need exorcised.. but then I think of the movies, like wheres the girls heads spinning and is vomiting and just pure evil, lol I'm not like that.. although I get bipolar manic episodes where if I start to feel angry It can/will boil up until I snap.. With all due respect, you are wrong. I know it sounds strange, but in the Catholic church, the priest is a conduit for Christ. I don't think a lot of people understand this, and it is a tough concept to get because it is like the priest (including the Pope) is a dichotomy.

You see, the church teaches, and I have come to believe, that God, through the Holy Spirit, makes the Pope infallible when he speaks on certain teachings of the church - when he sets down law/interpretation of the scripture. This is true even for the most corrupt Popes, and there have been some - men who were sinners - like all of us. They don't lose their sinful nature when they are ordained, but Jesus can still work through them in the sacraments. When you go to confession, you are speaking directly to Jesus, and he is speaking back to you. When you are anointed with oil, it is as if Jesus is anointing you himself. If you don't believe in mysticism and miracles, etc., then this sounds whacky. But hey - if we are to believe the Jesus was resurrected from the dead, then why can't we believe that God performs miracles still today and that Jesus is present with us? (Of course we know he is.)

So, no - no man can save you - only Jesus can save you. God gives you the grace to want to be saved - to know him. Sounds like you have that. You do have to do part of the work, though.

But no - holy water is not just the same fluoridated water you can get from the tap. It is blessed by Christ - using the hands of the priest, which have been ordained through apostolic succession - from Christ down to the present - priests have passed on this power by the laying on of hands - just like in the bible.

Seriously - and this is addressed to all - you have NO IDEA what amazing spiritual and mystical power there is in the Catholic Church. There are so many misconceptions that we have about it, especially if we were raised Protestant (like I was). I was fortunate enough to have received an anointing for past hurts not long after I started looking into the Catholic church last fall. I can not put into words the love and peace that I felt when I received that oil on my hands. First of all, it was the most heavenly scent I have ever smelled in my life, and I will never forget it. Secondly, I wept like a baby - it was like the Lord was filling me up with love and peace and warmth - it was the most wonderful feeling - a little taste of what being in his presence in Heaven is. Once you have felt it, you are his forever - you don't ever want to give that up - for anything.

LOL about the head spinning around thing. Father Malachi, one of the church's most experienced exorcists says that it's not like that in real life. He also says that many people are categorized with mental illness that really are possessed. I'm not saying you are - not by any means, and no priest is going to just assume you are without a pretty thorough evaluation/investigation. But if you are concerned about it, talk to one. If you are concerned about finding the right person, etc., just raise up a little prayer - Lord, send me a priest to help me with this. Now, there is a shortage of priests in the US right now, so you might have to take a little initiative, but just trust him that he will deliver, and he will. He never lets us down. Sometimes he doesn't give us what we think we need or what we want when we want it because it's not in his plan, but salvation of souls is ALWAYS part of his plan. Don't be afraid. And if God and Jesus are too intimidating - just ask Mary for a little assistance - she'll put in a good word for you. ;)

Oh, and BTW - Jesus always prevails in a showdown with the devil.
And if you look up Father Malachi I should give you fair warning - he has passed away - he died in a suspicious fall down stairs - like in the Exorcist movie. Makes you wonder, huh?

To be honest with you I am not a christian but I clicked on your thread anyway because the title indicated someone was looking for 'help'. I am a people person first & foremost and if someone is reaching out for help and I may have advice or personal experience to speak from that they could benefit from from hearing, I'm going to offer it regardless. Gotta help each other out where and when possible.

It's important to remember that the prediction/designation/label made about an individual (or by the individual) need not be accurate or valid when it is made. It is in fact the very BELIEF in the prediction or designation that actually serves to create the circumstances by which it can be perceived as being 'true'.

You can find numerous examples of this in every day life. This phenomena or 'effect' need not have a negative connotation either - it works both ways. Look up the Rosenthal Jacobson study done with teachers & school children. Positive expectation/intention can produce results or have effects just the same as the negative can.

If you choose to 'believe' that you lost your soul or 'sold' it, you will carry yourself and operate in a manner that keeps you low in spirits and low in positive energy - and the very act of doing this will help serve to manifest negative perceptions of your experiences and your circumstances. Thus, you will fulfill your own prophecy even though it had been false from the get go!

If you want to change how you feel, you will need to challenge your belief about this and gain an awareness for how holding such a belief can affect your behavior as well as influence (even subconsciously) your perception of your life & your circumstances.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I truly believe that if you were "soul less" or "demon possessed" you would not be reaching out right now. Perhaps, as a child, you said something in ignorance that obviously had an effect on you.Believe it, satan will use ANY tactic to convince us of eternal hopelessness. However, there is ALWAYS salvation through Jesus Christ...at ANY POINT! Check out the NDE stories of the worst sinners that were shown hell and reformed when given a second chance to repent.

The fact that your eyes are now open is a great gift from the Holy Spirit. It's my guess that someone very dear to you has been praying for your salvation. By the way, we are ALL sinners saved by grace, lest NONE should boast.

You may be thinking that you made an honest mistake and it lies heavy on your conscience at times. Which is good. And being that it might disturb you is a good thing. There is probably a reason for it. Something pulling at the strings of your heart?

GOD is faithful. He loves you. Don't run from HIM but run toward HIM. If it is bothering you, you need to talk to The Lord about it honestly. He already knows what we are going to say before we even say it.

GOD is loving and forgiving and already knew what you did before you even did it.

Keep trusting Jesus Christ always. No matter what. GOD is mighty and I believe He loves you very much. That He always has and He always will.

Concerning what is that you can be forgiven. All can be forgiven except one thing which Jesus mentions. The problem lies in the ability to repent of any sins that has been committed, if it is beyond the point of no return so to speak. That is a logical to think about, the more serious the sin also the harder it is to return from it, because any repentence must come from the heart. So if you are very sorry and grieved for the sin that one has, there is always hope.

Another thing, if one deliberately repeats a sin planning to do it, then you must come with really some good excuses or explanations for it that you did it.

I am not sure about it, but this latter situation above, I think is what Jesus, among other things, referres to concerning the Holy Ghost:

Mat 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

Mat 12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

How did those musicians claim of of done it then? How come they say that when they write music its not through them, but from the devil, and when they perform on stage its like a chant and not them in control?

Basically it sounds like I am fucked then. I blaspheme all the time.. Like, I jerk off, then feel bad and repent, then jerk off again. Like I quit for 6 days last week then said fuck it and did it again.. Then repented, then did it yesterday, even had sex yesterday, but now today I havent done anything.. You can bow before that you choose. And it has power over you. If you bowed before another in time, you can choose to bow before God. As all bows before HIM in time. HE will become your God and all else becomes null and void. You can choose to bow before anything or challenge God, but why would you? as All will bow to HIM in the end. All else is fixed false belief, or delusion.

By doing so now (in time) you will see that HE is good, beautiful, loves you, wonderfully made you to be with HIM and truth that surrounds you. And HIS new contract will be with you that is All in your favour. As HE IS complete, does not need and Holy, or set apart. Remember everything will matter, but not that much as HE IS beyond everything. Peace be with you.

It is necessary that you really want to quit sinning. But Jesus knows that we never can quit sinning. If you ask Him he can start a program to overcome any sinful behavior. But it is not done overnight usually. When you overcome one thing then the need for it still is there, but He has given you control over it, so you can look at it and then decide that you can avoid it. The goal is to change the will so that you have the freedom and not be a slave to sin.

So is a turning of one's will that is the process.

In the process it will always happen that you backslide. But not because you will it, but because you cannot help it. And then it is not a planned trespassing. And it is easy to give an explanation. It must be truthful of course, showing you are serious, and not seem as you take advantage of His kindness.

Sometimes it can be likened to take a painkiller of some sort. But some open sins can be very difficult to explain not to have been planned, and also can be very difficult to get rid of if you not at once just quit. And only take a painkiller during the process.

But the freedom to know being in control, is a much better feeling than having to give in always for our weaknesses.
