In a nutshell, they are eliminating Saturday delivery. Excluding packages (which they maintain is still profitable for the PO) and medication deliveries. They believe they will save $2B/yr doing this. Sounds like there's going to be some postal workers losing jobs!

The USPS should pack it in. On the very rare occasion I deal with them, their employees are so fucking rude, the epitome of lazy civil servants. They all look like slobs and can't be arsed to do a damn thing for anyone. The more of these blobs they fire, the better.

Starting August only five days of spam/trash stuffed into your box a week instead of six, so you get an extra day a week to shovel all your junk mail into the trash cans...

I do a lot of business via USPS. Sure, there are alternatives but they're the cheapest option more often than not.

Is your business sending people trash that they have to cram into garbage cans without reading?

Man, where I live it's just the opposite. I can't complain at all about the postman. But I live in a small town where everybody knows everybody else.

Yeah--that's cool. I'd be okay even if they eliminated packages too on Saturdays. My customers don't generally get riled up over a couple days (unless there is a holiday involved like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day or Xmas).

But seriously, everyone really is tired of these stupid "mailers". Who even looks at that ridiculous bullshit? Oh look--I may have already won!!!

True! Man, the fucking wasted paper is unbelievable. And lets not forget all that glossy color ink. The processes used to make that shit have a lot of toxic byproducts.

Oh look, Kroger, Aldi, Meijer, and Wal-Mart have food and shit for sale again, who would have thunk?!!
