Before you can teach boys to be men, you have to decide what you mean to teach boys about becoming men.

I hope we mean that boys should learn to take care of themselves physically so that they feel healthy and strong.

I hope it means that we train them to be serious thinkers, using their natural talents to their best advantage.

I hope it means that we teach them positive forms of relaxation so that they don't drive themselves to succeed while depleting themselves of any pleasure in life.

I hope it means we ask them to be responsible for their decisions.

I hope that it means we remind them to be kind to all people, not that they have to bend over backwards, or that they have to play to others opinions or attitudes,but that they remember to be civil in their dealings with other people.

I hope we train boys to be smart about their finances.

I hope boys learn how to communicate with others, both male and female.

I hope that we teach our children,both boys and girls that the Earth is their home and I hope our children grow into adults that respect where they live.

I hope we teach boys that they grow into men, and girls grow into women and not only should that they should get along with one another, but that it's imperative.

No man is an island, and neither is any woman. We all have to live and work together.

I'm not worried about boys growing into men. This nation is filled with absolutely wonderful young men! Yay us!
