That's disappointing!

I gotta say, I downloaded it in 720p, watched it over and over, took a lot of snapshots, trying to find anything to rule out that bright dot near the sun as a flare, but I didn't.

I also checked out Stellarium with coordinates of South Georgia, in the date the OP said he recorded that video, by the noon, and there's nothing that bright near the Sun.

The OP uploaded a bunch of other videos, with the same object showing up in different days.





Check out his YT channel for more.
