A simple choice: Stay with the system and suffer, or leave and live.
Its a day where positive outlook is the only option for me.

I'm thousands in debt (student loans), have an awful job and have got to the point where I can't even eat because I don't have a dollar to my name.

I have noticed I have been working so much I go days without eating, and the only reason I notice is the severe stomach pain. Every 2 weeks, my check seems to be gone before I even see it.

What positivity could come from poverty?

Love.

I'm simply putting love and heart into everything I do. I don't care if I have new shoes, haven't bought a shirt in a year, a car without problems, or anything material.

I want to quit the system cold turkey, but its an addiction much harder to overcome than any drug.

The first step is admitting you have a problem.

I do. Either I stay with the system to get more money, or I leave money and actually live.

I'm thinking leaving is the only way.

For every negativity, create two positives!

~For wolf and moon

Part of a pack one wolf chose to leave
A life like his dreams this wolf chose to weave

On his own in the dark the wolf could not see
Nobody was telling him what to believe

When he questioned what truly made him free
It was always the moonlight guiding thee

~eyeDR3

The sheep may one day find, there was always a wolf inside.

How do you plan to eat outside of the system?

Just curious :) I'm not saying there's no way.

Whatever you choose to do, it will be the right choice for you. People are dynamic. We change constantly. If you want to opt out of "the system" for a while, that's fine. If it doesn't work out, you can always come back.

No matter what, you are never stuck. Explore life and take risks. Adventures are everywhere. Ride the roller coaster for a while.

Find the food on my own. Be independent.

Having money at all makes us dependent.

Best post today so far, i feel for you OP, research the bank you owe money, it might go under sooner that you could expect, same for the dollar, if you lay everything on the table you might realize that you do work for peanuts, the main problem is that you're stuck with that debt you cannot clear anymore with personal bankruptcy in court as it was possible not too long ago, as long as the system and/or the bank hasn't collapsed you will remain stuck with it, anyways when things go down the toilet disappear and never turn back, there will be nothing worth to hang with once people start rioting in the streets, chaos is at stake it will be no longer before everything start to crumble believe me.

Starving dehydrated idealists frustrated with the ways of the worlds, attempted to break free of the system, but instead found... it was a far crueler world whem you try not to play along. The blade of reality will cut you quicker than you may expect, the street is no place for dreamers. Where will you go, how will you eat, what about medical attention, staying dry and warm?

The system is easy to reject in mind
almost impossible in body

one must be truly dedicated with all of one's being

Us, the children of the system have been raised to not have such determination ingrained into our characters

When you do try to break free
prepare to lose most family and friends
prepare to be arrested
prepare to be the object of scorn
for a free man has no place in this world these days

OP - congrats. You've figured out a big part of the beast. Build up your treasure in heaven, not here. This is but one necessary part of "life" to get through. And hopefully, after God's call, you'll trust in Him to help you (if you don't already).

I feel you believe me. I was in a similar situation in my early 20s. Flat broke and working for a wannabe mafia don who literally screamed at me every day for no reason. I wanted to drive off a cliff. The only things that helped me through were my friends and a non-breakable belief that this would all pass. Whether or it was luck or divine intervention it did pass. took a long time but it did.

Check your local food banks if you can. don't be afraid to ask for help. no friends or family to help you? :<
