Texas is a welfare state, they can't afford to exist without fed money.
Montana aligned with the Dakotas could afford to exit the sinking ship.

All military hardware spending as well. And what difference would any of that make if the USA defaults and the dollar becomes worthless?!?!? You're argument is that just because the U.S. Government can incur debt and the Federal Reserve can print money, Texas can't live without it...Hell the U.S. Government spends twice as much as it takes in on an annual basis so that they can buy the State's subservience with money they borrowed, then the Fed printed out of thin air. How long do you think a system like that can really last? Hell take it to the extreme, every state should secede so they can incur their own debt and print their own money so that the counties will then be beholden to stay on... So basically, you're argument is that the US Federal Debt makes all the States slaves to the Federal Government... Fuck that...
