What is this obsession with giving low income people "smart" phones? Surveillance?

of course. Thats because android cellphones are the perfect CIA tracking device to monitor all U.S. civilians.

Supposedly for job search? Makes no sense, using the computers at the library makes more sense for writing resumes & doing job searches.

They will use the phones mostly for social networking & entertainment.

The only other thing is that the company is owned by a big Oblabla supporter.

the effin spending for votes or campaign dough never ends. when will we say enough? we have these damn immgrants coming here and voting themselves more and more stuff. it used to be those coming here were shown to the nearest welfare office, now they are shown how to vote legal or not and the damn dems don't give a damn as long as they vote the right way.

I think you pretty much nailed it there. I'm not very tech savvy and my cell phone is completely basic and that's okay with me. If I were looking for a job I'd head to a library myself.

I used to work at a pizza place...

these people used to call in and talk to the manager and give em a boo wooo story

"We got 3 kids and we're starving to death, we have no food, please help, havent ate in a week"

they would pull this stunt about every 2 months...

My boss was too nice to say no and would take their order...

thing is... they were PICKY!

and ordered enough food to feed 10 people to the point of gluttony...

well they called in one day and they spoke to the boss... and the boss knew they were BSing... but couldnt turn them down...

my boss started venting to me about it...

So I said... alright... they are starving and dying...

Let's run 4 large pan pizza crusts through the oven... no toppings... just the crust...

FYI that is pretty much how pizza chains make breadsticks...

if they are really starving they will accept it and smile and thank you...

then you can feel good about helping someone in need...

if they are scammers they will throw a fit and be hateful...


sure enough when they came in... the 3 supreme pizzas and cheesesticks and wings werent waiting on them...

4 orders of XL Breadsticks were...

they got mad as hell and refused to take them...

they never bummed again.

same deal with the obamaphone... if those people need... really really need a cellphone... they will take any phone they can get... even if it isnt a smartphone...
