My grandfather, who died a millionaire (with $1M in the bank, but who started with pennies) always banked on the following: Food (such as Karft, SYSCO Foods etc) because people will always need to feed themselves Utilities (electric, gas, water, etc) because people will always need these items for their homes Anything that pays dividends -- which he reinvested when he was younger, then lived off of when he was older. By using this strategy, it seems we could maybe see the direction that things would be going in the face of a crash.... what things will people / companies STILL need when the crash hits? That's the direction to be looking in. |
