Don't take this the wrong way but.....you cannot smoke your happy to happiness: there is a law of diminishing returns on everything.

With weed...take a holiday and clear your mind for three or four days.....jog and sweat out some toxins...I used to consume THC and liked it...but, after five years, I never really went back.

Got it out of my system, and enjoyed the old renewed energy and alertness.

I think it's good for camping trips and solitude....but, there is a time to lit your body and mind come back to reset itself.
