If 86% of all US forces there in 1991 are now disabled. I do well imagine that the Iraqi diability rates among their general populations are going be be quite high as well.. .that and massive birth defects producing children born that cannot possibly survive, and you will have a negative population growth. Why do you think the USA didn't go in with a million troops like a real occupation army would do? Work it through, figure it out. There are more than one reason troop strength has been so limited. |
BO (nli) User ID: 74534 Turkey 03/28/2006 01:52 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yep and major news networks are not carrying this news among their top news. Here is the BBC link (at least it was on the first page) [link to news.bbc.co.uk] News footage taken after the attack seemed to belie US assertions that troops had not entered or damaged any sacred building during the raid. ... The tape showed a tangle of male bodies and spent 5.56mm bullet casings on the blood-smeared floor - the kind of ammunition used by the US military. ... [This is a gem] "In our observation of the place and the activities that were going on, it's difficult for us to consider this a place of prayer," said US military spokesman Barry Johnson. "It was not identified by us as a mosque, though we certainly recognised it as a community gathering centre. I think this is frankly a matter of perception," he added. -------- Wow..What a play of words.. |

There are several corresponding articles on the net all relaying the same story. I picked 2. |

It just helps to know the propoganda source of what one is reading. Helps one decide how much they want to believe what they are reading. For every position taken there is an exact opposite position and a million shades of grey in between the two. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 73943 United States 03/28/2006 03:45 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Its funny that this was stated to the administration by Colin Powell before the shooting war started. - He said, in effect, if you break it, you bought it. Now, we are in an unwinnable war. At the cost of over 2000 servicemen dead, 20000 wounded, and anywhere between 200 billion to 1 trillion dollars spent. I have no choice but to think its either the Neocon agenda, or the oil agenda. If its oil, what could we have developed for alternative energy if we put the war money into R&D. If its the Neocon agenda, how many Palestinians could we have paid to move, and how many Iraqi soldiers could we have bankrolled to get Sadaam out of the way. It is so non-sensical that I say its either absolute idiocy and incompetence on the part of the administration, or out and out treason. |

He may not... but others do. I think genocide of Muslims is a perfectly viable choice here. What do they really offer the rest of human civilization? What do they really bring to the table? ANYTHING? Darkstar_ User ID: 73943 United States 03/28/2006 05:25 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Shadow, to quote Nikita Kruschev,"When it comes time to hang the capitalistic west, an American business man will sell me the rope" I guess the rope has been sold. To the poster who advocates millions of more deaths , I ask, did you feel that way before 9-11? Or is your statement because of 9-11. If its because of 9-11, and the link that Shadow posted is true, then aren't some of our leaders culpable also? The "do not investigate the Saudis" is a pretty well know and stated by many intel and fed types. Or do you hate arabs and muslims on principle alone because of the actions of OBL and his clan. Maybe we should hate Christians because of McVeigh |
