you're not DID, more like ODD (opposition defiant disorder) or maybe even conduct disorder.

I also think you should contact a shelter. Emergency shelters aren't just for battered women anymore. Family abuse is more recognized now, they call it "domestic violence." Just because you are a man doesn't mean there are not resources out there for you.

If you don't know where to start I would call a rape crisis hotline or a women's shelter for resources. Then find an appropriate shelter that will help you get school, work, and most importantly, counseling. These people have worked with rape victims and they've heard it all, their mission is to help you.

Reach out and do it. PM me your city and I will even do the phone number searching for you.

Re: Help me. I think I'm suffering from DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder).
if you feel personalities are taking you over and doing bad things (like causing the rap sheet you have or the mention of the things you've said / done you forget), then an exorcism might not be a bad idea. an acquaintance of mine told me about a jewish exorcist who helps catholic priests with exorcisms ... apparently exorcism's were done by the hebrews before the catholic church was formed. i guess that is the mention of jesus casting out legions, he was a rabbi who must have been trained to do so.

i wish you God's healing.

It doesn't have to get there, a lot of that develops AFTER therepy. Like I said, read peoples blogs on this, read them backwards over time.

How do you know about that stuff? I posted I knew someone so I researched it. Maybe share more instead of challenging, cuz I DID challenge him, and he said enough to convince me and I know about this ...

Re: Help me. I think I'm suffering from DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder).
Just calm down as much as you possibly can, and try to think clearly. The most important thing is that you need to believe that you have the strength and courage to get through this.

The fact that you have been convicted of other crimes doesn't mean that other people can't be charged for crimes they have committed against you.

As it stands, though, I would try to see a psychologist or psychiatrist, if possible. They can help you with your dissociative identity problems, if that's what they are, and refer you to a lawyer or prosecutor in case you want to press charges. Of course, to press legal charges you will need evidence, which is often lacking in sex crimes that have taken place years earlier. But that's why I recommend seeing a psychologist. I think having someone professional to talk to would benefit you quite a bit.

You should try to face the very real possibility that you might ultimately not be able to bring the people who abused you to justice. But the fact that these memories are surfacing now should show you that your mind is ready to stop suppressing the truth - your mind, at some unconscious level, is ready to face whatever awful things were done to you. That also means that with time, healing, and some therapy, you can also learn to live a happy and fulfilling life.

I'm not religious or else I would say God Bless :) I wish you the best.

So this kid is 25, you're saying that kids, oh wait okay, yeah they can, yeah, but the alters also show up during adult hood. Or worse, and this is from reading peoples blogs backwards, the alters weren't defined until they started "therepy" which means the therepist could have shaped them.

I'm not saying kids don't have fully formed alters. But sometimes those alters don't show up until after a person gets "help". Then they are worse than before they started and can no longer function, or work to support themselves when they COULD before they started therepy.

atypical shizophrenia is not, and not always -- some cases of environmental causes. most anyone under certain conditions would enter a spectrum of diagnosis. the brain seeks to maintain without crashing under pressures. everything is situational. stimuli and physiology mix. but everyone is now changing their biology with GMO's and vaccines. and air. so... back to stimuli.

cognitive emotive therapy will not be as effective as the new bio feedback measures. shooting frequencies to pattern the alpha, gamma, theta waves of the brain to something more stable. which is a constant therapy model.

Hi OP,
Please do call a womens shelter. Go there. Talk to them. They may even come pick you up. You need help dealing with this. You may later think to yourself you're being silly, you can handle it yourself. Dont let your brain trick you, it will come back later, again and again, if not dealt with. And it helps to talk to someone who has been through it or has been trained to help.
My good thoughts will be with you. You have taken the first step, asking for help here. But please do call.

DID at that age would have to disclose sexual abuse under certain conditions, not to strangers on a forum. it takes months at minimum to build trust and to use a variety of measures to peek inside. you only get broken pieces that come as word salads.

that is why i said ODD as he is pulling your leg and attention seeking. age is prob false too. maybe not. maybe a loner.

Psychiatrists are the CAUSE of problems like these.

Not the cure.

By naming and describing these disorders, they ENABLE self diagnosis of psychosomatic illness.

They enable the proliferation of the ideas into pop culture and common thought.

They enable veritable witch hunts for personality types that they call "mental disorders"; for which there is little actual proof, and which are all remarkably spectrum-confined.

The "clouds", blocking the "rainbow", of course being the very IDENTITY of the "disorder" in question.

And always remember: all prophecies are self fulfilling.

Love to you in magnificent waves from here, forward.

These memories to not define who you are, as unfortunate and terrifying as they may be.

As a member of this forum, I am certain that there have been times that a thread has managed to disturb you to some degree...something you KNOW you cannot do anything about. When such a dark door cracks open, we all learn to keep our wits about us, lest it gnaw at us until it ruins our better self.

Perhaps my analogy is not a very good one, but, I have a feeling that moving forward is essential to your well being.

There are times when moving forward means 'letting go' of familiar things. In this instance, I wonder if you will have the support system you need close beside you. Depending on how you chose to move forward, this support might needfully be HUGE and constant. Please consider all of the ramifications your choices may set in motiom.

Should yu ever find yourself in need of some outside support, or, just someone to listen and be there, just send me a message.

Up until recently you had a path that was working well for you. Please try to stay on it firmly, because it is NOT YOU who has changed. You are still the same vital and poetic person you were before recent events. Do not lose sight of this.

Will you clarify if your family is your biological family to clear the possibility that you were taken from another family such as these:

only advice is to get far away from those that hurt you and live your life anew, getting it together each day at your own pace.

I'll be 25yrs old tomorrow. I am just now having repressed memories being brought to light of sexual abuse done to me by my family. I don't know who to trust, if anyone. My rap sheet is so long and it would be easy to denounce my claims and allegations as just some young adult looking to get over on somebody - and a good enough lawyer could probably get them off. I'm scared. I'm shaking. I'm losing my grip on reality. Everything I was told is being brought to the light and exposed as a lie. I don't know who I am. I don't know why this has happened to me. And the people I thought were my family, people I thought I loved and trusted..well..I don't know who they are or what they want but I'm afraid I might be in danger. Please help.

We all are in a sate of this disorder so to speak because we were in a dark age. It is different now, that is why we feel so different while things still look the same. You have to start asserting your place in the universe rather than say why me

say why not me... I'm not the product of my experiences, I am the sum of being experiencing. You are not alone, ever. This is why you have trust issues because you are in the age of not being hidden anymore.

No more judgements unless you chose to. But then it has to be honest critical self eval and you cannot accept the role of victim in the process...

i emply with the county services, so i direct therapist to give me info so I can draw conclusions. 25 you say. sexual and physical abuse is all i do with LEO.
