I am but I'm concerned. My family..um, I guess I'll just say they are well informed. I'm scared that now that I've let the cat out of the bag they might try to silence me. I appreciate the hugs and I desperately need the strength. I'm not 100% safe though. Please pray for my safety, if anything.

There are services available to help people in your situation and given what you've described you went through, and what you are feeling now, reaching out sooner rather than later might be a good idea. You can call a hotline from a safe place so that they can help you find out what options and services are available to you. Also, have you searched online for services offered in your city/community? And let me know if you need any help.

If something triggered this response in you by bringing up repressed feelings, you may be having a panic attack (shaking, loss of grip on reality) - strong stress response. Deep breathing helps with this (and count while you inhale and exhale - and hold the breath in for a while each cycle too).

Once you are safe, you'll have to deal with the repressed pain, but first thing is getting yourself in a safe place.
