Have we Entered the Danger Zone? The 250 Million Year Time Bomb
Some of you scientific types will agree that we have discovered millions of dinosaur bones across the globe.

Some of you fundamentalists might argue that they were "put there to test our faith in God"

I believe that dinosaurs were made extinct 250 million years ago and we are about to go the same way.

Could it be co-incidence that our Solar System takes a 250-Million-Year to Orbit the Milky Way?

Are we heading into an area full of comets, asteroids and high energy particles? We've heard about so many near earth comets and asteroids like DA14.

FFW to around 19 minutes to see other solar systems crashing into dense parts of space..

Suppose we'll have to watch and wait: This ex NASA guy wasn't very optomistic.
Thread: Getting laid of from NASA time to spill the beans.
He worked on the IBEX program and knew a gigantic cloud of energetic particles at a million degrees celcius was not a good thing...

The dinos went out 65 million years ago, not 250 million.

Yeah, that was not dinosaurs, but it was the biggest extinction to marine life..

There was a mass extinction 250 million years ago, however. There have been 5 mass extinctions on Earth. The dino killing one was the latest.

It was the biggest mass extinction event before the dinosaurs.

Everyone assumes the dinos was the biggest.

Apologies for the assumption that it was the dinos.

I was trying to draw attention to the 250 million year cycle and an extinction...

Having looked into it properly, that was even more significant as changes in the seas was a huge factor as it is today.

Don't get me started on weather patterns.

Now I'm thinking the Sun is a big player in this. More than the risk of another asteroid impact.

Pin-pointing the exact cause (or causes) of the Permian–Triassic extinction event is a difficult undertaking, mostly because the catastrophe occurred over 250 million years ago, and much of the evidence that would have pointed to the cause has either been destroyed by now or is concealed deep within the Earth under many layers of rock. The sea floor is also completely recycled every 200 million years by the ongoing process of plate tectonics and seafloor spreading, thereby leaving no useful indications beneath the ocean. With the fairly significant evidence that scientists have managed to accumulate, several mechanisms have been proposed for the extinction event, including both catastrophic and gradualistic processes (similar to those theorized for the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event). The former include large or multiple bolide impact events, increased volcanism, or sudden release of methane hydrates from the sea floor. The latter include sealevel change, anoxia, and increasing aridity.[13] Any hypothesis about the cause must explain the selectivity of the event, which primarily affected organisms with calcium carbonate skeletons, the long (4– to 6-million-year) period before recovery started, and the minimal extent of biological mineralization (despite inorganic carbonates being deposited) once the recovery began

It seems to be something affecting the whole solar system and the effect it`s having on our sun is causing the sun to affect the planets even further.

I think we`re screwed.Everything that's been happening to our sun and magnetosphere makes sense now. This dense ribbon that our heliosphere is pushing through is massively shrinking our protective boundaries around the sun,and they showed on the video how intergalactic magnetic forces are pushing hard in from both sides squishing the heliosphere in,and that accounts for the energy waves hitting our magnetic shield from the opposite side of the sun. I`m not a scientist but I feel the density of the ribbon we`re about to hit will shrink the suns heliosphere down within the boundaries of Earth`s orbit leaving Earth exposed to massive bombardments of radiation which will saturate the planet scrubbing it of life. That`s why the govt has made the huge underground shelters and that`s why they have stocked up on years worth of food rations, to protect themselves while we all die.It makes sense.
