These drones are the product of a corrupt government looking to secure their assets and asses by using military equipment on the civilians which is unconstitutional.These corrupt politicians try to justify this by pushing these drones off on civilian police departments saying they will be used b them which is a bold faced lie.

I suggest you do everything in your power to make sure these drones do not see our skies because I promise you this,one day your kid(s) will be in the wrong place at the wrong time and they will be labeled collateral damage.

Our government may think they are above the law and they can run around killing civilians without due process but that's just what they think.Wake up today or they will make sure there is no tomorrow.

There was recent talk of having DRONES over Dayton Ohio and how great they'd be for crime solving.

I went to look for news of DRONES in Dayton and couldn't find a single story of this story.

I did NOT say it was a bad idea,,, I am just stating fact! The title of this thread makes it seem it is state law to shoot down a drone.. That is ALL.

I would really have to agree with you. Obama is like dawning a pair of They Live glasses.

The law makes it illegal for drones to operate in that state's skies. If that law is broken, and someone shoots it down, is that a punishable act? Doesn't seem so unless it states that shooting one down is illegal.

I tried to google "the terminator war is real" and found that google has zero returns on that specific phrase. I find it hard to believe that not one single person has said those exact words anywhere in googlebot land..besides myself.

You have summed up the situation exactly. The issue here is will we allow this especially evil and corrupt Obama regime to further erode our freedoms. Eyes in the skies will eventually turn into a deadly mistake and innocent people will die. Unarmed surveillance drones can easily be equipped with rockets, as they are when used over foreign countries. Bottom line is the loss of our right to be "left alone."

Communication with the eternal GPS was not encrypted. They just changed the home base coordinates of the drone and brought it to its new home.

Charlottesville? Really? I surely support their initiative, as well as their gumption to put it into play, but surprised they were not beaten to the punch by a more "conservative" city.

The other side of the coin is that drones don't even have to be within the bounds of their city or county - the elevation achievable provides a field of view that does not require immediate overhead positioning.

Again - great for them for putting their position on paper to make the point, I just fear a bit of false security could come from such without consideration of actual capabilities (specifically field of view and linger time) of the drones.
