First US State Fights Back Against Drones. They can shoot them down.

There are a lot of great patriots in Virginia who have not forgotten this great states role in American History.It's just the infiltration of commie liberal northerners that have fucked up northern Va.The rest of the state is very similar to The attitudes of most southerners.Fuck the feds.

When I read these stories of the States and local governments, the Sheriffs and others speaking out to oppose the strong surge toward tyranny, it gives me hope. At the same time, it makes me furious that there is no courage or integrity in Congress to take the steps to return our nation to the constitution. Either it is a collection of cowards or they are all infected to the core.

It appears that this is breaking down into the constitutional states opposing the federal government individually or in a type of new constitutional alignment between patriot states. I've never seen something like this, well, none of us have since it's never happened.

The only domestic force that the federal government has are its employees, citizens of states and communities themselves, Americans who should love and defend their constitution too. I expect the majority of them will defend their families and hometowns.

What we really have to fear are the foreign troops, invited here on US soil. The Chinese, the Russians, whoever they are, in whatever states they now reside, we need to strongly oppose their occupation and work to expel them. Where are they?

Our lines of defense against this government tyranny are:

1. The local Sheriffs. They are elected by local people and are not subject to ANY government regulations. Joe Arpaio in Arizona is one of them, as are other sheriffs around the country.

2. Nullification by individual states of any federal laws that are unconstitutional or will impact negatively on the residents of a state.

3. Secession is the final defense where a state says goodbye to the current mess in our country and elects TO REVERT TO THEIR STATUS AS A SOVEREIGN COUNTRY, which they all were before voluntarily joining the Union. This is a constitutionally guaranteed right that requires no approval by anyone other than the state's residents.

Secession wasn't allowed by Dishonest Abe Lincoln who ignored the constitution to the extent that Obama is doing now. In order to deny the states right to secede, he used the federal army to invade those states and 600,000 Americans died. Lincoln is Obama's idol and there is no reason to believe that he won't do exactly what Lincoln did when the present "requests" to secede are dealt with by his government. I believe he has dealt with them with a dismissive wave of his royal hand. They shouldn't have even asked him for permission. Its not required.

Anyway, we are in for a rocky four years of the Emperor in our White House pushing all Americans to a tipping point where we finally stand up and say "no more." Congress is inhabited by cowards and thieves, only interested in staying in power. No help there.

Impeachment and removal from office is a hope but so far there has not been one judge that had the courage to deal with the legal challenges to Obama being president.

And finally we have the last last last line of defense which I hope never comes because it will pit desperate Americans going to war with a rogue government, using the weapons that were not confiscated by that government. Chances of success with that are slim but as a wise early American said, (paraphrase) "It is better to die standing up than to live your life on your knees."

Please understand our next President, the next elected official of our nation will take it to a new level in regards to Drones and a suppressive police state.

Just like Obama didn't give back powers Bush began, instead he took it to a other level. A level some couldn't see coming .

The next in line will increase Homeland security to bolster Un employment and increase the size of government..

The gun laws proposed are just one more agency and data collection of the ever expanding government ...

See it before it comes, envision what you can't already see and remember once they bring home all of our troops they will need jobs and need to fight terrorists.
The problem is with no one to fight over sea's, big brother will monitor you practicing their skills and new tech.

Federal law stumps state law with no questions asked so don't believe what your told, believe what the facts are and what you can prove....

Yup. Several other localities are considering the same measures.

These things are already in use across the country in places you'd never believe, and they use your cell phone to target your location if you are subject of interest.

I've seen them countless times and assume I am. The newer ones fly so high as are so quiet you probably aren't going to even see them.

The funniest thing I ever saw in recent years was an older gentlemen who is a bit "paranoid" about the government and who carries a rifle on a sling every where he goes shooting at a drone with .308 with open sights. He didn't hit it but it made me wonder if I was the target of observation or he was. This was in a very rural area of Louisiana.

The government on no level has the right to use this type of surveillance on civilians, survielance should be by informed consent unless a warrant is issued by Constitutional law.

Question: can someone be prosecuted for shooting down a drone if that drone is illegally in the forbidden airspace? If not, they can shoot them down. Another point: if someone was able to do that, how in hell do you think he will ever be caught?

If something can happen, it will. The crazy made up scenarios of today become the reality of tomorrow. Ask the Germans under Hitler, the Russians under Stalin, any group of people who came under the thumb of a dictator if they believed it could ever happen to them, to their country, and they'd say not in a million years.

No one is bringing up when one of these things loaded with ordinance crashes and kills people? Takes people dying to get these nasty people to stop with this drone nonsense it is not right. I have been flying r/c aircraft for 20 years and I have the best of radios and technology and I still crash just not as much. These drones will kill themselves become too expensive to operate and maintain and to train the human drone pilots who think it’s a fuckin video game. Mark it on the calendar when one of these things crashes or hits the target but kills everything else with it to. I have even heard of a pilotless drone? I like that idea I really do.
