There was a time in the distant past where men with names such as Washington, Jefferson, Payne, Franklin, and Madison that did not hide in stating their objections or proposed means of protecting the nation of which they also played part in the founding.

Imagine that for a moment; not reading of people in history books in hopes that said "history" was even remotely close to actuality, but KNOWING first-hand the things that had transpired as these were your fellow countrymen, your neighbors, your friends.

It was this direct connection to both the understanding of the tyrannical oppression present, as well as the sacrifices, threat(s) to themselves and their families, and the time in the ditches that had been necessary to break this yoke of tyranny from their shoulders.

Because of these direct connections, they understood how important it was to ensure the continuation of the belief system that all were possession of CERTAIN INALIENABLE RIGHTS, ENDOWED BY THE CREATOR. They moved and stipulated such by putting it on paper - not covered in legalese, but written in very plain English so that even an elementary level 18th century education could not only understand, but also take advantage and reap the benefits of.

For these past 237 years, the citizenry of and visitors to this country, and arguably the entire world, have benefited from the positive effects of this new experiment in which all were assured the guarantees of LIFE, LIBERTY, and PURSUIT of HAPPINESS.

There is one major attribute that allows this experiment to work; MATURITY - on both a personal physical level, as well as on a personal spiritual one. It is necessary for a person to possess AND exhibit the marks of maturity in order to be content in another's happiness.

Dictatorial rulers throughout history have lacked this one, singular attribute of maturity. Dictatorial rulers are, essentially, spoiled, narcissistic children who have never been forced to grow up. They've never had to work for what they have; they've never experienced the hardships of making their own way in this world; they've never struggled to balance work and family, or to even feed that family. These have never troubled themselves with visiting the local grocery, much less balancing their grocery budget while maintaining a healthy diet for their family - and forget about growing anything for themselves.

It is this spoiled brat that becomes the dictator. It is the spoiled brat that cannot find happiness within their countrymen's success, achievement, or happiness. It is the spoiled brat that throws the temper-tantrum at any point things don't seem to go their way. It is the spoiled brat that believes taking from others to fill their own toy box (or line their pockets) is acceptable with no repercussions. It is the spoiled brat that believes the entire world is for their taking and exploitation, with zero regard for the other members of their society.

Even more so, it is the spoiled brat that forms alliances and allegiances of opportunity and convenience, each tenuous under the surface, and readily discarded at the first sign of difficulty or as a more attractive alliance surfaces - if even only temporary. It is the narcissist that creates faux friendships that exist only for their own personal benefit. It is the spoiled brat that, while destroying the thinly veiled alliances they have made, care nothing of the damage (physical, emotional, psychological) that follows their trail of traitorous narcissism.

The White House/ Washington D.C. has devolved into the nursery room for spoiled, narcissistic children, and the alliances and allegiances made and destroyed will have heavy bearing on this country for generations to come.

In the near future, it is as probable as it is possible that we, the current populous of the United States of America, may have the same opportunities of KNOWING the men and women responsible for the next breaking of the yoke, but it will require the same understanding and recognition of the conditions stemming from the yoke of tyranny, the same understanding of the sacrifices, the same understanding of threats to ourselves and families, and the same understanding of the work to be done in the ditches.

The aforementioned men cannot be called upon any longer, though their memories and positions remain. It is we, the ADULTS of MATURITY that must ensure the sentiments of The Declaration of Independence and The US Constitution never die. It is we, the adults, who are tasked with the oversight of the children, and if need be, send them off to bed without their dinner.
