Re: Manhunt for former LA Police Officer
So they raised the reward to a million dollars for his capture. Cute. Trying to tempt the commoners with greed in order to serve their police masters.

Found on another board (adjusted a little for heavy swearing and context):
No [I wouldn't turn him in for cash]. Only because I know the "reward" wouldn't get paid. And it's sad for any dense person that think they would get paid and wind up being tricked.

Because here is what would happen:

Scenario 1:
>you aren't harboring him, but know where he is
>call the police for reward
>police execute Dorner so he doesn't get his story told
>police don't give a civvy like me credit for my call because they want the media to portray themselves as competent and not needing civilians help
>I don't get money

Scenario 2:
>I'm harboring him, but I decide to turn him in for cash
>they execute both me and Dorner as 'accomplices' during their raid, because they don't want his story told, and I'd be a witness to the execution/don't want to give a payout to a commoner like me
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33527300

You are correct, you'll never see the money. I testified numerous times in court and was told I would be reimbursed for travel and expenses and never was, even after filling out the paperwork for the clerk of courts. Not once.

Do you know if the manifesto was on the Facebook page where it could be pulled up and read?

and if so, which version was there?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33968321

No, it wasn't on his Facebook page. Nobody knows which version is the real version, but most everybody guesses that the short version originally released is the real version, and the second one talking about gun control, etc was added to by someone with an agenda.

Here is the long one [link to www.informationliberation.com]

and the short one

Apparently you have not read the whole story. He was smart enough to publicly tell what his intentions are. I don't totally agree with his recourse, but he tried all avenues of the legal system and they are corrupt. He sees no other way to fight the corruption since he tried the higher avenue.

Re: Manhunt for former LA Police Officer
A huge manhunt is under way in Southern California for a former Los Angeles police officer, who authorities say has killed one officer and is a suspect in the killing of two other people.

Two officers in Riverside were shot early Thursday, one fatally, police there confirmed to CNN. CNN affiliate KTLA reported another officer was shot in Corona, California.
Christopher Jordan Dorner, 33, is also wanted in a double slaying Sunday in Irvine, California.

The California Highway Patrol issued an alert Thursday morning urging officers in several Southern California counties to be on the lookout for Dorner.

Dorner has made violent threats against other Los Angeles police officers, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
"I will bring unconventional and asymmetrical warfare to those in LAPD uniform whether on or off duty," Dorner allegedly wrote in a lengthy letter promising retribution against the departme nt, where he worked from 2005 until 2008. An LAPD source provided the document to CNN after the overnight shootings.

cops here are crazy...they dont need a reason to "think" they are above the law. They have guns and badges so they think they are the law.

I am the police. And I am here to arrest you. You've broken the law.I did not write the law.I may even disagree with the law.But I will enforce it.No matter how you plead, cajole, beg or attempt to stir my sympathies, nothing you do will stop me from placing you in a steel cage with grey bars.If you run away I will chase you.If you fight me I will fight back.If you shoot at me , I will shoot back. By law, I am unable to walk away.I'm a consequence. I'm the unpaid bill.I am fate with a badge and a gun.Behind my badge is a heart like yours.I bleed. I think.I love. And yes,I can be killed. And altough I'm but one man, I have thousands of brothers and sisters who are the same as me. They will lay down their lives for me.And I them. We stand watch together. a thin blue line.Protecting them from the predators. The good from the bad. We are the police.

and YOU probably have full support for the war on "TERRORISM"

he is a trained killer who tried all proper ways to deal with the problem he probably could never get another job because he tried to do the right thing and was let down MULTIPLE times The system is is far from pure and all though I DON"T agree with innocent people dieing, they destroy and kill people all the time while getting high praise for doing so

innocent couple...the young couple engaged, had nothing to do with him. she was related to the officer who allegedly kicked a criminal and the incident he reported got him fired.

the man there looking for, told said officer he was going after his family....he a nut case...
don't verify him or you are too

Specifically, it was the lawyer's daughter and her fiance. Now while I agree that this whole thing should have been handled in a different manner, the fact remains: we are here to discover the truth. Was he wronged and felt there was no other way? Does he have a history of mental disorder? What sort of interactions did the girl and her fiance have with the man? These are the sorts of things I want to know!

And no, i'm not a nutcase. You shouldn't have to go there to get your point across. :-) Let's stick to facts, shall we?
