You know, when they cart out a "manifesto", I have to wonder if this isn't a set-up. Anyone can write out a manifesto and claim that someone else wrote it. My gut feeling is that this guy is being set up to look like a nut job, and he is a threat in some way. The media loves to set people up as nutcases, and trot out manifestos, but if you delve into most of these situations, you will probably find mind control and all sorts of bullshit going on. If CNN is promoting this, I am highly doubtful of any accuracy in their reporting.

Could this be a set up because he was exposing corruption in side the LAPD, which is known to be probably the most dangerous gang in California?

Sad. I don't agree with what he is doing for revenge but I do understand what drove him to it. Many cops who go against the code of silence do get set-up and fired. If they somehow keep their job they will never be promoted. Have seen it happen many times.

The incident that caused him to report the excessive force actually seems mild compared to some of the things that some "bad" cops do. But no matter how brutal the excessive force incident is the other so-called "good" cops usually turn their heads & never try to do something about it.

There is a lot of truth in this part of his manifesto:

"Those of you who “go along to get along” have no backbone and destroy the foundation of courage. You are the enablers of those who are guilty of misconduct. You are just as guilty as those who break the code of ethics and oath you swore."

Still, with that being said, there is no excuse for what he is doing. He is deranged. The loss of your job & your name is not an excuse for murdering people. I hope they are able to stop him soon. He could have pursued other avenues to expose the corruption. He is now no better than the corrupt cops he talks about. He's no hero at this point!
