Local LE will get the ammo from the same place they get military, APC's, HMMWV's, etc., the feds. The militarization
of local LE is only part of the communist transition of the US.

Just makes it even more curious that DHS is able to get such an order filled w/in 30 days.

I worked for one of the ammo manufacturers that produced the ammo for the HP contracts and I was privy to all of the orders we had. The DHS HP orders were not normal. We made ammo for the Secret Service, FBI, ATF, and lots of other state and local law enforcement agencies. The DHS, nor any of those other agencies had ever ordered that much ammo in such a short time.

If you still think the HP DHS orders were normal, then go stick your head back up your ass.

This is alarming! I have a question however. Why is it listed as :

Category : 13 -- Ammunition and Explosives
Sub Category : 1310 -- Ammunition, over 30mm up to 75mm

And then further lists small arms ammo like .40 and 9mm?
The 30 to 75mm sounds like big stuff like cannons or something

I think I've figured it out. They've come up with a way to put a dint in the national debt. They'll buy up all the ammo while continuing the attack on the constitution. After everyone is at the highest level of panic. They will set up a false front and sell it at highly inflated prices.

Thats why its scary to me. Its bad enough they fly their helicopters around Florida shooting blanks at people. They used tanks at Waco. Is the DHS buying these types of munitions as well as small arms ammunition?

Don't they do this every year to have rounds for target practice, etc.? I recall this being a non-issue last year.

No... The ammo last year is designated for operational purposes, not training. This order is for training.

Lots of uninformed people with no experience in the defense, law enforcement, or ammunition industry spewed their clueless speculation last year in regards to the orders last year.
