Watch "The Secret." Maybe it will help?
 Quoting: Gratia Plena

It's the law of attraction. You are attracting that which you put out into the world. If you're always thinking, "I'm lonely, I'm depressed, life sucks," then the universe gives you loneliness, depression, and a sucky life. It doesn't hear, "I wish I wasn't depressed." It hears, "DEPRESSED," and that is what you get.

Start visualizing happiness. Start feeling it. Pretend you're happy. Don't think, "I am so lonely." Think, "I am so excited that I am going to find true happiness!" I know it sounds quacky, but you have nothing to lose.

Seriously. Watch the movie. You'll want to hate it, but you'll find out it makes you smile anyway. I'm not a millionaire yet, despite trying out "the secret," but it is funny how just when I was going to be short on money because of an unexpected expense, I would get an unexpected check in the mail. Try it. You are worth it! You are a beautiful soul!

Also, try taking B12 supplements. I am a woman, and certain times of the month (ahem) I get so depressed that I have suicidal thoughts. I know it is just my hormones, so I have never seriously thought about acting out on this thoughts, but they come like clockwork, and I hate them. I get so down, I just hate the world and life and just want it all to end. The past month, I have started taking B12 sublingually every day, and it is the first month in years that I haven't had a week straight of suicidal thoughts. I still think you should watch "The Secret," by try supplementing with D and B12 too.

thats like saying someone who just got raped, on some level was asking for it.

the secret is nothing but hogwash
 Quoting: SmuRidley

Yeah, that's exactly what I meant. iamwith
OF COURSE THAT IS NOT WHAT IT MEANS!

I suggest looking at the cup as half full, and you interpret that as rape victims asking to be raped. Give me a break. You are the type of person just looking for someone to argue with. I think that's a chip on your shoulder that I see.

Maybe the secret is hogwash, and maybe it's not. But trying to change one's perspective and pick themselves up is certainly better than doing nothing. As I said in the post you quoted, OP has nothing to lose. If it turns out to be hogwash, what has happened? Nothing has been lost.

Re: 25 and lead a depressed and lonely life
OP is there anything you enjoy or enjoied on the past?

You may start from that.

Why do you eat only once in a day? Do yo have economic problems?

Living in one room is depressing, if you can change place consider it.

In the other hand think: you have not anchors. You could move to another country, place and start something new.

Also this will renew your natural interest towards lerning, wich is what life is about.

Re: 25 and lead a depressed and lonely life
if you have a job then you're better off than most
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1052106

Indeed.
OP is suffering from first world problems.

He has everything, money, food shelter, therefore there is not much more to achieve and the life itself looks useless.

Nothing wrong about that.

The only thing that can help you is to find out what your true passion is.
This can take months or years for you to find out.
But don't listen to all that advice here.

Just live your life, it's ok. We all have to suffer and our demons inside.
But after a while you will start feeling better or things will happen that will change your life.
You don't have to do anything.
Just keep going - everything will solve itself.

Remember you're already living the dream of living in a first world country. You already made the jackpot.
Now find out what makes you happy and what your passion is - and find ways to make this your profession.
The rest will come from alone.

Good luck.
But be aware that this may lead to quitting your job and pursue a whole different thing in live. Like a writer, musician or activist. Who knows what your real talents are.

Have fun.

Re: 25 and lead a depressed and lonely life
masturbation? Are you cRRaZyy?

every time a man ejaculate he is expelling great energy from his body... This in turn weakens him greatly, and if nothing is done to break the habit and replenish the lost energy, then it's his health that starts going downhill.

sorry, but relief is not for free.

Reality is harsh, but in harshness you find strength.

Don't waste your sexual energy.

how long do would you say one has to wait until this energy builds up to a HIGH and noticeable level???

Re: 25 and lead a depressed and lonely life
I have no friends, no family, no relatives and don't like crowded places. Everyday after work I come home to my 1 bed flat with the kitchen, toilet and bed in the same room, and go to sleep, normally with no dinner. I have 1 meal a day and that's during lunch.

Sleep is all I do after work and I don't have a social life.

I don't know how long I can go on like this.

My existence is pointless. What can I do..

Dude, I've been in a similar place. I discovered a life-saver.

What I seriously, SERIOUSLY recommend is going to Starbucks (and Starbucks ONLY), and get yourself a double espresso. The beans they make the coffee with (which I believe are infused with another plant of some kind) will quite literally alter your mind to make you feel ok about your circumstances. I'm not joking -- others have commented on the net about it. It will make you feel better in spite of the reality you're in.

When you can't change your circumstances, it's imperative to alter your brain chemistry to be able to cope with them. It is a divine gift from God. I was at the end of my rope until I found it.

I order a grande (medium) breve latte (which is made with milk and half-and-half) + 4 shots of classic syrup, foam on top, 180 degrees (might too hot for you). It lasts longer than 24 hours for me... and it quite literally allows me to live in spite of a horrific environment.

You don't believe me, take a look at the second-to-last comment at the end of Thread: Does anyone else here get unusually high from Starbucks espresso-based drinks?

It's incredibly real, safe, legal, and redemptive.

there isn't a way to measure unless you compare yourself to others, and when you do that you will notice a few differences that will boost your self-confidence.

You will know that everyone around you is losing energy. You can feel it, and so you start feeling privileged, smarter.. People look like shit - you don't. People grow old, fat and sick - you don't. People are stressed, confused, struggling with life - you aren't.

I haven't been sick in 2 years. And by that I mean not a single common disease. I only start having downturns with my health when I overeat, but then all it takes to solve is a trip to bathroom.

so pay atention to your levels of self-confidence and will-power -> if you find yourself doing things you never thought possible, if you find yourself breaking old habits and limits with ease, then you know that the energy is rising.

but there isn't a limit you know...

Re: 25 and lead a depressed and lonely life
and remember -> you only start noticing a significant difference in your well-being after a sufficiently long period of abstinence. It's not until you have won quite a few battles against your body...

I've had at least 3 small accidents since I started my journey and they all happened because I was overconfident about my abilities. You must avoid over-satisfaction and overconfidence. They will invariably tempt you to "challenge yourself" so that you can find "proof" of your progress. Instead try to redirect this need for challenge to some other non-sexual activity. The problem with sexual energy is that it must have an outlet. If you don't give it an outlet, it will flow the path of least resistance, which is down through your genitals.

..life, a happy one anyway, does require actions,it is a participation sport..but there are MANY sports. Golf players are not team players but are quite happy...I lived in a town of 5000 for 30 years ...and LOVED going to NYC,Las Vegas etc etc...for about 4 days, then it got to me, crowds, traffic, smells etc etc...you require about half of what most people eat, if you are healthy and have energy etc..don't judge what you think you should be eating..however, a poor diet can lead to sluggishness, tired, no energy etc etc...eat a balanced diet...it's your life, you live it or don't..your life is pointless?..then point it somewhere..go for a walk every day after work..bar/pub nearby?..stop in for 1 drink and chat, engage people..don't pretend to be anything you are not..everything you are having EVERYONE has had to one level or another...you need a friend,a GF...or you don't want it..but then you would not have posted..get the F**K out...a whole world out there and it's a lot more good than bad...
