Earthchanges: Earth’s weather goes haywire
In case anyone missed this.

“Earth’s stability is collapsing…and one by one, the biospheric processes regulating life itself are going awry. These are early characteristics of climate shock and are indications that even more ominous changes are yet to unfold…areas of the Earth…will become increasingly inhospitable from the extremes of climate change. As incredible as it seems, we’re witnessing signs of epochal change-across the planet which are typically consigned to geological periods of planetary extinctions. The climate stability, we once knew, is gone forever.” –The Extinction Protocol [link to theextinctionprotocol.wordpress.com]

Snowiest winter in 100 years paralyzes Moscow traffic for 3,500 km
February 6, 2013 – RUSSIA – The snowiest winter in a century has hit the Russian capital, causing Muscovites to get stuck in traffic jams 3,500km in length on Monday evening – the distance from Moscow to Madrid. Since the beginning of the winter, over 2 meters of snow has fallen on the Russian capital, the Moscow mayor’s aide in housing and public utilities Pyotr Biryukov told Interfax. Snowfall is expected in Moscow for four or five more days, he added. On Monday, 45,000 community services employees and 15,000 units of equipment were attempting to cope with 26 cm of snow – nearly a fifth of the average annual fall. The latest snowfall has become a nightmare for drivers with the capital’s commuters trapped in gridlock. Many of those who left their workplace in the evening had to spend five to 10 hours getting home. The average speed of vehicles was no more than 7-9 km/h. The number of road accidents – 3,000 – was much higher than during an ordinary day, with minor accidents quadrupling, according to Channel One TV. Pedestrians were having a hard time, too, trying to make their way through ice and huge snowdrifts on the sidewalks. Over 50 people were injured after falling. On Tuesday morning, the streets became virtual ‘skating rinks’, with passengers of minibuses forced to push the vehicles up the hill from time to time, and then jumping into the moving vehicles. Overnight, almost 150 huge trucks became stuck on the Moscow ring highway, blocking it for hours. Moscow’s Yandex Traffic Jams application showed that traffic was at level 10, the highest possible. Meanwhile, over a hundred flights were grounded at Moscow airports. Notably, Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev’s plane was unable to land in Vnukovo airport, and proceeded to St. Petersburg. It’s not the first time that Moscow has seen massive snowfalls this winter – in mid-January the situation was similar in terms of heavy falls – and traffic. Yandex Traffic Jams also recorded level 10 at that time. In December, the harshest temperatures in 70 years were recorded, with thermometers showing temperatures as low as -50 degrees Celsius in some regions of Russia. Meteorologists predict more snow is in store for Muscovites in February and March. “March is considered a winter month here,” one top Hydro Meteorological Center official indicated to Interfax. –RT

Campi Flegrei caldera (Italy): new geysir-like fumarole vent observed, ongoing slow inflation

Inflation of the ground by about 10 cm since 1 Jan 2012 (OV / INGV)
A new fumarole vent has been detected recently in the Campi Flegrei in the hydrothermal field of Pisciarelli. The new vent was seen ejecting hot gas as well as geyser-like fountains of water reaching 4-5 meters of height. This will inevitably trigger headlines in the press about the possibility of a volcanic eruption in the area, however, it should be looked at in a context that such phenomena are a normal part of the behavior of (very) active hydrothermal systems such as the Campi Flegrei have. ...more [read all]

It seems that activity has decreased since the large explosion on Sunday. Erik Klemetti on the eruptions blog has compiled a number of interesting satellite images to compare the extent of pyroclastic flow deposits before and after the event, which probably was a combination of a larger partial dome collapse with an explosion (triggered by the sudden pressure release). ...more [read all]

Australia’s Bureau of Meteorology says January 2013, was hottest on record
Read more at: [link to phys.org]

February 3, 2013 – AUSTRALIA - The Bureau of Meteorology said both the average mean temperature of 29.68 degrees Celsius (85.42 degrees Fahrenheit) and the average mean maximum temperature of 36.92 Celsius surpassed previous records set in January 1932. The nation’s central outback sweltered under a “dome” of heat for much of the month, with the Northern Territory posting its hottest mean temperature on record for January of 31.93 Celsius, the bureau said. “The heat-wave in the first half of January was exceptional in its extent and duration,” it said in a statement released Friday. “The national average maximum temperature on 7 January was the highest on record. Numerous stations set records for the most days in succession above 40 degrees Celsius, including Alice Springs (17 days) and Birdsville (31 days).” The bureau said a large number of weather stations set all-time record high temperatures during the heat-wave, including Sydney (45.8 Celsius on January 18) and Hobart (41.8 Celsius on January 4). The highest temperature recorded during the heat-wave was at Moomba in South Australia, which hit a scorching 49.6 Celsius on 12 January. The bureau said the heat-wave, which aided bushfires in the eastern states, was followed by extreme rainfall and flooding for some coastal areas of Queensland and New South Wales caused by ex-tropical cyclone Oswald. The rain caused extensive flooding in the Queensland towns of Bundaberg, where some houses were washed away and roads destroyed, and Gladstone among others. “Gladstone received 820 millimeters (32 inches) of rainfall in four days, which exceeded its previous record for a whole month, and more than the annual rainfall recorded in 2011 or 2012,” the bureau said. –Physics

Remote Viewers predict catastrophic meteor impact by 2013

"Back in 2008 some predictions were made by a team of the top, military trained "remote viewers" -- each with over a decade of successful service. Lyn Buchanan from US Army Intelligence and Glenn Wheaton, of US Special Forces participated in a project run by Farsight Institute originally designed to detect minute climate changes at selected targets around the globe. Instead of climate change, the remote viewers saw a huge meteoric impact in the ocean with devastating tidal waves and volcanism. All this happening by 2013.

The results were unexpected but should be taken seriously. It appears that the governments of the world are already preparing for such an event. The scientific community believes these predictions to be so strong and reliable that they proposed to let the reputation of remote viewing, as a science, rest upon this horrible prediction."

Just a couple of examples of what is going on world-wide

Sink Holes
January 30, 2013 – CHINA - A massive sinkhole in Guangzhou, China, swallowed up buildings and knocked out power to thousands of residents. According to Shanghaiist, the sinkhole is about 3,230 square feet and plenty deep. A video shows a crowd milling about the sinkhole before it expanded, causing a building to crumble as if it were detonated. Neighboring buildings were evacuated and streets were blocked by police. “Gas could be smelt from over 30 metres away, and deafening noises could be heard as the land continued to crack and sink,” the Shanghaiist reports. Sinkholes are, unfortunately, nothing new. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, some sinkholes are human-induced. “New sinkholes have been correlated to land-use practices, especially from groundwater pumping and from construction and development practices.” They also occur in areas where the rock beneath the land surface can be easily dissolved by groundwater. Human-induced or not, sinkholes are getting a lot of press these days. In China’s Guangxi province last year, a sinkhole formed after a local school dug a well to ease its water shortage. Business Insider reports that in Beijing, massive bomb shelters, “constructed amid fears of an impending nuclear attack during the height of Chinese-Soviet tensions,” may be contributing to the problem. But they certainly aren’t limited to China. In 2011, a Florida sinkhole gobbled up “a garbage bin, an oak tree, the back wall of the building housing a salon and racks of supplies.” A woman in Guatemala City discovered a 3-feet-wide, 40-feet-deep sinkhole beneath her bed. And in Ohio, a massive sinkhole caused part of a state highway to collapse. –Yahoo News

Re: Earthchanges: Earth’s weather goes haywire
What is posted is data collected from various news articles. There is no question about the extremes in temperature in both the northern and southern hemispheres; nor the significant increase of volcanic eruptions around the globe and higher numbers of 7 & 8 magnitudes in earthquakes. In the last few years there have been reports of large animal/fish/bird die off (due to what? - it's not just pollution), a number of sink holes across the globe and booms have been making headlines as well.

On [link to iceagenow.info] it is their contention that the planet is moving into another cyclic ice age where the earth is cooling. Yet what is most disturbing is what is happening with the magnetosphere due to increase proton bombardment. Is this type of increase also cycle (due to the solar out put) or something new (a new active reigion of space)?

Extinction Protocol site is basically stating that the extremes in climate change is just the beginning and pointing out that this is a cyclic period of when life on the planet in various areas will be at very high risk of extinction. This is already evident in the fish/bird/animal die-off reports. Humans are more adaptable but they are doing so great in areas of drought or where famine is so sever that some are eating their children as in N. Korea. They also don't fare well in extreme cold or heat, nor in floods, tsunamis areas, major quakes and next to areas where volcanic eruptions are occurring.

FEMA also is ending out messages that it's pretty much every man for himself and if one has the insight to go back and check at what is happening to the North East where Sandy struck last November - folks there are still living in tents with this huge where another blizzard consider to be among the worst of all time is barreling down on top of them. How many folks will be negatively impacted by this?

A University of Utah study suggests something amazing: Periodic changes in winds 15 to 30 miles high in the stratosphere influence the seas by striking a vulnerable "Achilles heel" in the North Atlantic and changing mile-deep ocean circulation patterns, which in turn affect Earth's climate.

Reichler and colleagues used weather observations and 4,000 years worth of supercomputer simulations of weather to show a surprising association between decade-scale, periodic changes in stratospheric wind patterns known as the polar vortex, and similar rhythmic changes in deep-sea circulation patterns.

Read more at: [link to phys.org]

Is what earth is experiencing cyclic or something not seen before? That is the 64 million dollar question.
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.

This is from last November by Dutch Sinse and quite good.

11/30/2012 -- Sinkholes, Explosions, and Earthquakes -- What is happening?

Four options ...

1. All the recent explosions are a series of coincidental 'accidents'...

Or

2. The explosions could be natural but a new development (static buildup occurring in multiple fuel tanks/gas lines)

Or

3. The Explosions are man made (some group causing these explosions using energy or frequency weapons).

Or

4. The explosions are being caused by large pockets of released methane (natural gas) from above the planets crust a few miles down in the Earth .

--------------------

Option 3 is a bit far fetched.. but with the way things are bouncing back and forth between the US, Russia, and China.. worthy to keep on the back burner for future thought. Don't discount it as a possibility I should say.

Option 4 does not explain the fuel tanks exploding, or the ships/helicopter/gas line/p propane tank explosions recently.

Great work putting this all together. Probably the sun getting larger and other celestial events are triggering changes here on Earth like we are seeing in the other planets.

Re: Earthchanges: Earth’s weather goes haywire
Planet in crisis: “We are entering an era of increased planetary instability, brought on by a significant rise in the geothermal gradient, and subsequent magmatic fluid expansion within the planet’s interior. It will be a time, in which, we will see catastrophic and exponential increases in the number of natural disasters- most notably: earthquakes, storms, and volcanic eruptions. Yet, it is not the number of earthquakes that will strike the planet in the future that should most concern us. It will be the cluster eruption of mega-quakes, and their resonate aftermath, which will signal the planet has entered an intensified cataclysmic period of transition…these quakes will signal the secondary stage of Earth’s thermal acceleration, and should come to be viewed as signs of increasing disorder. Some of the quakes will strike as singular events; others will erupt in clusters, and some will strike some of the world’s most dangerous faults…this time will be marked by increased tectonic plate agitation, and an increase in the outbreak of the most powerful and destructive type of earthquakes, known as mega-thrust earthquakes.” –The Extinction Protocol, pp. 166,167,172 (2009)

A decade of below normal rain and snow, plus higher temperatures is causing Lake Huron and Lake Michigan to look more like great puddles than Great Lakes. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers says other Great Lakes - Superior, Erie, and Ontario - are also well-below average. Kristina Behr has the story.
