Patrick Declares State Of Emergency, Announces Travel Ban In Mass.
[link to boston.cbslocal.com]
BOSTON (CBS) – Gov. Deval Patrick declared a state of emergency in Massachusetts Friday afternoon for the blizzard that could bring up to 3 feet of snow. He also announced he has signed an executive order to ban all travel on all roads in the state starting at 4 p.m. Friday. he governor said rapid snowfall of 2-3 inches per hour will make for, “extremely dangerous conditions,” and will “make safe travel nearly impossible.” This is the first time that a Massachusetts governor has issued an executive order like this since the Blizzard of 1978.

Snowstorm Friday Has Potential To Be Historic
[link to boston.cbslocal.com]
Only six times in Boston’s weather history (more than 100 years) has more than 20 inches fallen in one storm. You truly need the atmosphere to set up just right for a blockbuster snow event. First we have an ample supply of cold air pouring out of Canada. Low temperatures Wednesday night will be in the single digits in many of the suburbs and highs on Thursday will only reach the mid 20′s.

Next, we have a very “juicy” storm coming from the Deep South, out of the Gulf of Mexico with plenty of moisture to work with.

And like so many other storms preceding it, as it reaches the warm current of the Gulf Stream of the Mid-Atlantic it will “bomb out” and become a very powerful nor’easter.

Finally, there is always a concern along the coastline for a mix or change to rain due to the relatively mild Atlantic Ocean.

CHANCE OF STORMS: NOAA forecasters estimate a 35% chance of polar geomagnetic storms on Feb. 8th in response to an incoming solar wind stream. Further boosting the odds, Earth's magnetic field might receive a glancing blow from debris produced by the "dark spiral" explosion of Feb. 6th

In case anyone missed this.

“Earth’s stability is collapsing…and one by one, the biospheric processes regulating life itself are going awry. These are early characteristics of climate shock and are indications that even more ominous changes are yet to unfold…areas of the Earth…will become increasingly inhospitable from the extremes of climate change. As incredible as it seems, we’re witnessing signs of epochal change-across the planet which are typically consigned to geological periods of planetary extinctions. The climate stability, we once knew, is gone forever.” –The Extinction Protocol [link to theextinctionprotocol.wordpress.com]

2/9/2013 -- 7.0M Earthquake in Colombia South America -- Unrest Continues
[link to www.youtube.com]

From Dutch Sinse
Published on Feb 9, 2013
Here is my most recent earthquake update from yesterday:

[link to www.youtube.com]

description from yesterday

This makes at least THREE 7.0M+ earthquakes in the Soloman Islands / Santa Cruz region over the past few days (as of Feb. 8 2013).

One 8.0M and THIRTEEN 6.0M+ quakes.

[Add in this 7.0M earthquake in Colombia South America as well.]

Overall, if you add in the 5.0M+ and 4.0M+ at the same spot (soloman islands) ... it makes a truly excessive amount of movement to see in one weeks time.

This is a time to be prepared for further large scale movement at the Soloman Islands region, AND ALSO elsewhere (as far north as Kamchatka Russia / Japan.. as far west as Italy/Poland.. as far south as New Zealand.. and as far east as the Craton Edge in the USA).

Its a very large area to watch for compensation movement, and also the direct area of Soloman Island for further large scale earthquake activity.

All around the ring of fire (at this point) we need to be prepared for at least multiple 6.0M followups in South America, Central America, and the Pacific Northwest. Don't rule out southern California and the fracking operations either --- these may show activity as well.

Its been VERY silent along the West Coast of the Americas.. and also very silent along the craton edge in the USA ---- we've only seen three 3.0M+ earthquakes at a quarry site in Utah... which is far too little movement for what we've seen occur in the west pacific (solomans).

Here is a link to multiple sources of earthquake data / international and national:

The CME, which was captured in flight by the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory, billowed away from the sun at 800 km/s. The bulk of the cloud looks like it will sail north of Earth. Nevertheless, a glancing blow is possible as shown in this 3D model of the CME prepared by analysts at the Goddard Space Flight Center. High-latitude sky watchers should be alert for auroras on Feb. 12th when the CME passes by.

Northeast digs out from blizzard: 9 dead, thousands without power

February 10, 2013 – BOSTON, MASS - The Northeast started digging itself out after a blizzard dumped up to 40 inches of snow with hurricane force winds, killing at least nine people and leaving hundreds of thousands without power. By early Sunday, utility companies were reporting roughly 350,000 customers still without electricity across a nine-state region after the wet, heavy snow brought down tree branches and power lines. About half a million had been down as of late Saturday. Air traffic began to return to normal Sunday after some 5,800 flights were canceled Friday and Saturday, according to Flightaware, a flight tracking service. Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, and Long Island MacArthur Airport reopened on Sunday morning. Both were closed on Saturday. Boston’s Logan International Airport reopened late on Saturday, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. Rare travel bans in Connecticut and Massachusetts were lifted but roads throughout the region remained treacherous, according to state transportation departments. As the region recovered, another large winter storm building across the Northern Plains was expected to leave a foot of snow and bring high winds from Colorado to central Minnesota into Monday, the National Weather Service said. South Dakota was expected to be hardest hit, with winds reaching 50 miles per hour, creating white-out conditions. The storm was expected to reach parts of Nebraska, North Dakota, Wyoming and Wisconsin. Friday and Saturday’s mammoth storm stretched from the Great Lakes to the Atlantic and covered several spots in the Northeast with more than 3 feet of snow. Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts took the brunt of the blizzard. Hamden, Connecticut, had 40 inches and nearby Milford 38 inches, the National Weather Service said. Amtrak said it planned to run a limited service between New York and Boston on Sunday and a regular Sunday schedule from New York to the state capital in Albany. However, the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority and Connecticut Transit said service would remain suspended Sunday. Stratford, Connecticut, Mayor John Harkins told WTNH television on Saturday snow had fallen at a rate of 6 inches an hour and even plows were getting stuck. The storm dropped 31.9 inches of snow on Portland, Maine, breaking a 1979 record, the weather service said. Winds gusted to 83 miles per hour (134 km per hour) at Cuttyhunk, New York, and brought down trees across the region. The storm contributed to at least five deaths in Connecticut and two each in New York state and Boston, authorities said. A motorist in New Hampshire also died when he went off a road but authorities said his health may have been a factor in the crash. The two deaths in Boston were separate incidents of carbon monoxide poisoning in cars, an 11-year-old boy and a man in his early 20s. The boy had climbed into the family car to keep warm while his father cleared snow. The engine was running but the exhaust was blocked, said authorities. –Reuters

Is the Earth cooking up another supervolcano?
[link to www.npr.org]
The blob is the size of Florida, and there are other, smaller blobs around the edges of the piles, too. One pile is underneath the Pacific Ocean; the other under Africa. "I think this is the first study that might point to evidence that these piles are moving around," Thorne says. Moving perhaps, but slowly, and the piles are maybe 3,000 miles across.

Hot dang you're quick off the mark OP.

I blame chemtrails, marine damage and nuclear disasters. Man, it is said, will be responsible for the 6th earth level extinction, I guess they were right.

These are notes from Sean David Morton, Farsight Institute and he who must not be named:

[link to www.strangeuniverseradio.com]

New Zealand Solar Watch are saying due to a body of work regarding actions on the sun in late March there will be an 8.0 quake on the souther Pacific rim.

The data indicates a planetary expansion event with an up thrust of a crustal plate under the Pacific plate. He is expecting another 8 or 9 quake in that area in March. He expects two new plates that may take years for the second one, the first before June 1st and he expects life to change for people in the Northern Hemisphere.

The great silence may be that the long-term internet language has been wiped out with the focus on the immediacy data. Infra-structure will fall apart in May where data (internet) doesn't go in or data can't be collected. A major 9+ level earthquake will isolate the Pacific northwest and the internet may not be available as a result.

Why the internet is vulnerable if it goes down (not get money from the bank, can't order on line, can't get gas out of gas pumps) because it runs through undersea cables.

NEMO is the potential for a polar vortex collapse where super coldness comes in with high energy particles. Magnetic north is up-tethered moving near Siberia and moving toward the US east coast. The Gulf Stream is shuddering - where corex has desalinated the water by sinking the oil to the bottom the Atlantic conveyor is stopping where the warm air is moving north. The cone at the top of the planet is a soft cone. The magnetosphere is like swiss cheese. The only thing holding it in place is the atmosphere pressure... it dipped and elongated toward Russia. What is keeping it up is the atmospheric pressure which is being blown to bits by the current series of storms where the polar vortex will collapse over the Northeast, the harbors will freeze, rubber on tires will freeze and all air will be go out of the tires, plastics will crack, metals will give way which affects the power on the poles. Seattle and Pacific northwest will be isolated as a result of some major quake.

An EMP will take place off about 50 miles off the coast of NYC. Water levels up to 3 or 4 stories high and scavengers in boats. Infra-structure will fail and people will be walking.

Expansion event will probably be caused by the crashing of the Pacific plate - there is an emergence of a bulge of molten lava just under the ocean basin along a known fault line at the bottom between the mantle and ocean bottom., near the 8.0 earthquakes. A crack would account for a steam explosion near the Santa Cruz islands that would alter the level of the ocean where vast amounts of steam would go up into the atmosphere that creates lots of rain, storms, flooding.

Polar vortex collapse can trigger the first day of the next ice age. The magnetosphere can reform over certain areas and stay frozen. Potentially frozen oceans where ships get locked up.

Last week in February another large quake is expected in the Santa Cruz islands area in the Pacific Southwest.

If there is satellite damage next week from the comet there will be an impact on the internet.

The major event is likely to take place in late March through May there should be a number of things occur at the same time. Break down in social order at an economic level. Order stuff needed now.

The storm was caused by a region of south-pointing magnetism in the solar wind that wafted past Earth during the early hours of Feb. 14th. The solar wind's south-pointing magnetic field partially canceled Earth's north-pointing magnetic field, opening a crack in our planet's magnetosphere. Solar wind poured in to fuel the storm.
