Why do we still use the pagan roman calender?
And don't you think we should make a new one not based on roman gods. How do you think the Father feels about this?

Yeah, I wonder why we still do. We need to bin it. The days and months are named after pagan roman gods. The Father is against the House of Israel using this wicked idolatrous calender.

We use the Gregorian calendar, prior to that was the Julian.

The Gregorian calendar was instituted by papal bull sometime in the 1580s to replace the calendar implemented by Julius Caesar.

Re: Why do we still use the pagan roman calender?
How interesting you should be discussing the calendar. I think the calendar has something to do with the mark. And I do not have verses memorized so I hope you can see what I am talking about. Not an expert on this stuff. tomato

Ok, the fourth commandment is the only one that says to REMEMBER, none of the others say that. And I think that is important as to say, "remember", as to assume/know that we would forget it. But yet, they say, "but, but, but.... Fri., Sat., Sun., whatever day you think the Sabbath is, I do go on that day!" Well, I say, "You do not worship on Yahweh's Sabbath." Because his Sabbath is based on a moon calendar. The new moon, half moon, full moon, half moon, new moon, ect. are the Sabbath Days. These days do not fall every Fri. or Sat. or Sun. but fall all throughout the month if you are following the Roman-Greco calendar.

So, if you are worshipping on the 'true' Sabbath, with the moon cycle and not the Roman-Greeco calendar... It would be very hard to keep a job or store in the normal (babylonian business world) world of today. You can not buy or sell without money and without some way to make money, you will not buy or sell. And you can think, own your own land and grow food and such stuff... Amish do it... They also pay taxes and that's why they stand on the corners and sell quilts and bread and you can buy "Amish" built stuff that's suppose to be so good and costs lots of money. You must be in the system somewhere or you will not own anything and will be like a homeless person. But Yeshua said, "Give to Cesar what is Cesar's and to Yahweh what is Yahweh" and "It's not hard or burdensome to do what is correct."

Yeshua never said not to buy and sell just to come out of her (babylon system and be separate from it). He knew we would not be able to fully avoid the system. They can and will find you if they want to but they don't want most people. They are harassing the ones that are trying to get out of babylon now, the ones on the fringes like the true followers of Yeshua should be. They are mainly doing it for the 'green' or 'freedom' movements and not for religious purposes. The raw milk and eggs and the non-industrial food stuff is going down in the USA, beware.

Now Yahweh's calendar starts in the Spring, when the barley is milky, right before ripen. And this sounds like an old agricultural calendar and all the ancients knew of it because they had to grow food. Just like we have been aware of it throughout the centuries. It is disguised in plain sight for you. Get a farmer's almanac. Moon phase planting and all that stuff.

Satan hides things in plain view and so does Yahweh. They are not hiding anything. We are just not 'seeing' it. I think the mark is the day you worship. Who do you worship? If you are not worshiping on the correct day, you are not worshiping the one you think. The ancients had Gods for every day of the week, ect.

Go to a searchable Bible and put in sign and see what comes up. The Sabbath and Feast Days are the mark. And Satan is trying to get you to worship 'that whom you do not know'.

Exodus 31:9, 13, 17
Dueteronomy Ch. 6 (read whole chapter, 6:8 is verse)
Dueteronomy Ch. 11 (11:18)

And the beast is the multicorporations that control everything. They are so huge now that they control the entire world. He who controls the food, water and money controls the world. That is the large corporations. They have the power and get the laws made to help them and not you, the lowly peon. You almost can not buy or sell anything without going through a corporation of some type. Even your churches are corporations. Check it out. "Come out of her my children." Ask a small businessperson how hard it is to compete against a huge corporation. They have a slush funds for people who have the nerve to sue them, it's a writeoff for them, not for us. And you sign something to the effect that you will not mention the case or no money and as you NEED that money to get the help that is usually caused by whatever... Think of medical screw-ups, like the pharm drugs are perfect? scratching And if you, as a small business do not incorporate, you are liable to lose everything even your future wages in a lawsuit. They cann't touch your house and stuff if it's not in the business corporation, which by the way, legally, is a person. A souless person, with no morals except to make a profit no matter what they have to do to get said profit.

Feeding the souless beast... I have seen people line up and camp outside stores at Christmas, but I do not recall them ever camping outside of a church for days waiting for it to open. I have seen people crying and fainting over music and film stars. What's sad... They don't even know them people. But if you think about it, it's all corporations. It's the Kardashian brand or the Nike brand or whatever brand that you just gotta have. It's really really sad. It's sick, evil, perverted, twisted, I can not describe it correctly about how horrible it all is. People dying in the crush to be the first in the store to buy a piece of crap. It's disgusting.wowey1dunno1

I don't know what the mark of Lucifer will be. I've seen lots of theories about that. What I haven't seen is the theories on Yahweh's mark. He tells the angel in Revelation to go out and mark HIS PEOPLE. So therefore, you are obviously not marked by Satan/Lucifer and still alive aren't you? You think the world's going to get bad enough you are going to be in the forest somewhere eating bugs? Well, ok then... As in the days of Noah... they will be buying, selling, drinking, marrying, ect. I read somewhere in there... Not end of world/mad max stuff.... Like Yeshua, you will probably be on the fringes of society and very poor but not then, Yehweh KNOWS what you need and as he provided for his true faithful, I believe I will have shelter, clothes, shoes, food, whatever I need. Maybe not enough of it but then again, could be my time is up and I am going to freeze or starve. As Yahweh wills, not me....

The calendar is very important. Without it you are not following the 'true' Sabbath. And it's said that if you break one of these commandments, it's as if you broke them all. Somewhere it says that anyway. book

I think Yahweh wants you to follow his calendar first. After that, you can use a secondary calendar for stuff. After all, Yahweh uses the moon for the daily count and starts this count at the dark of the moon, just like he started creation in Genesis. Then he uses a solar cycle to start his years off. You must know how to keep track of his weeks and years. He doesn't say not to do business with another calendar as long as you do not do business on HIS SABBATH, HIS SEVENTH DAY of HIS WEEKS. So I think that everyone that is looking for a material thing like a chip or tattoo or whatever is looking in the wrong place.

That would fit in with the bolded part of the determination. Vs:and on is 'still waiting' state of being. The same day the Church is resurrected a new temple appears in Jerusalem. The House of Prayer is the house in Eze:47, pretty hard to miss a river that is several miles wide.

De:4:27:
And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations,
and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen,
whither the LORD shall lead you.
De:4:28:
And there ye shall serve gods,
the work of men's hands,
wood and stone,
which neither see,
nor hear,
nor eat,
nor smell.

De:4:29:
But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God,
thou shalt find him,
if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
De:4:30:
When thou art in tribulation,
and all these things are come upon thee,
even in the latter days,
if thou turn to the LORD thy God,
and shalt be obedient unto his voice;
De:4:31:
(For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;)
he will not forsake thee,
neither destroy thee,
nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.

I think people mainly just watched the lunar & solar cycles.

The ancient Greeks did have Hellenic calendars.

he Hellenic calendar—or more properly, the Hellenic calendars, for there was no uniform calendar imposed upon all of Classical Greece—began in most Greek states between Autumn and Winter except the Attic calendar, which began in June. The Greeks, as early as the time of Homer, appear to have been perfectly familiar with the division of the year into the twelve lunar months but no intercalary month Embolimos or day is then mentioned. Independent of the division of a month into days, it was divided into periods according to the increase and decrease of the moon. Thus, the first day or new moon was called Noumenia. The month in which the year began, as well as the names of the months, differed among the states, and in some parts even no names existed for the months, as they were distinguished only numerically, as the first, second, third, fourth month, etc.

Of course, as we all know, the Mayans had quite a calendar. Ancient Eqyptians & Celts were advanced timekeepers as shown by the placement of the pyramids & Stonehenge.

So then, should we come up with a more secular calendar then? You know going off of the fact that not everyone follows your religion and all.

The celebrating is done in just the 4 days the two witnesses are dead in the streets of Jerusalem. In the 1110 days before that 4 fallen angels kill about 2.2B people and in the 5 months prior to that (150 days in the flood event) more than that are tormented if not sealed by God. Gentiles have their temple in Heaven as described in Re:4 and 5. The prayers of repentance Christians make are seen as vapor from the altar and God at least hears them so they would qualify for whatever protection the two witnesses are authorized to give. While it could be something like the 40 days Jesus went without food it is not a power by itself so the difference between protector and protected is about the same as it was for Moses and the average Egyptian.
The 1/3 that Jesus lets live as witnesses would be chosen from repented people and the choice is made at a specific time, some escape within an hour. That part of the timeline is also to be taken into consideration if the scope and scale of the return is to not

The true Sabbath runs from 6PM to 6PM and day and night are each 12 hours long. I promote the timeline on the day of the cross is used for the day the 2 witnesses are resurrected would seem to fit with high-noon better than 6AM. In the 3 hours Jesus was on the cross Christ will be slaying people starting at the false temple and the fire that came to Sodom will destroy the city within 1 hour. Add that to the portion of an hour given near the end of Re:11 and it is 1:30PM when the ones that ran away fast witness the destruction in full. By 3PM Jerusalem time the 'angel of death has made the world barren of sinners and angelic beings such as the Beast from the Pit and the False Prophet. Resurrection would start at 3PM, same time Jesus died and by 6PM the whole house of Israel is alive as described in Eze:37. (the 1/3 of the Gentiles are also joined by resurrected Christians )

because everything is fucked up. According to the Ethiopian calender, Amharic, it's not even 2012 yet, the year is 2005. If this is the calendar that the Mayans went by, they might still be right about the world ending in 2012.

There were also years where leap months were inserted. Having barley ready to harvest was also a requirement as it's flour was made into unleaven bread for the Passover celebration.
