Having a lot of money, in and of itself, is not sinful. It is the "love" of money that is considered the root of all of evil. (I Tim. 6:10.) "Hypocrisy" is the yeast of the Pharisees and Jesus pointed this out on several occaisions. He even tells us that it will be throughout the bread (teachings). "Signs and wonders" are found in Deuteronomy 28 - the blessings and curses. Money and wealth prosperity are being preached to LEAD ASTRAY everyone. Yet, His blessings NEVER mention physical wealth!!!! How many times can both God and Jesus tell us we will be deceived and people NOT listen??? And yet, the very first thing He shows us - He gives a command and someone comes right along and convinces you to break it. |
