What is the typical limit for deer kills a year? If you could tell me your state or provide links, I would be so grateful. As I said, I'm not a hunter, so talk to me like a 3-year-old. For example, in Cameron County, in the southern Texas, the total bag limit is five, including no more than three bucks. Whereas in Dallam County, in the northwest Texas, the total limit is three including only one buck. |

So max 3 bucks. When you do get a buck the next deer has to be antler less. So basically you can get up to 6 does/antler less out of the six tags but only 3 bucks with each license for a max total of 6. You can also buy additional tags which include 6 more deer each season.
