Exactly what I tried explaining to the paranoid, lunatic fringe crowd, in a rather civil manner mind you, only to be called a "troll".

It is remarkable how intelligent discussion is shunned in this day and age. Even on a web-site devoted to discussing theories of all kinds, it seems anyone who tries to use deduction, or reasoning of any kind , is shot down.

You have 90% of the forum convinced the know some secret, something the rest of the world doesn't know. They can't agree on what that secret is, for each of the 90% believes it is something different. When you systematically try to show them the fallacy of their beliefs, they are quick to insult you, try to belittle you, in the most elementary manner.

What they don't realize, is that it is THEM who are hindrance to Truth. For truth comes not from crack pot theories, truth comes from deduction. Someone who has no interest in the truth, wouldn't bother using reasoning or deduction. These people , who want to know what is going on in the world, attack the very ones contributing to the factual information we actually CAN verify....sad isn't it.

A troll is usually someone who creates posts or threads on an internet forum, for the sole purpose of getting a reaction out of someone, or a group of people. If I wanted to get a reaction out of anyone, do you really think I'd post something so BORING as the fact that there are no microphones or cameras in TV boxes? Do you really think THAT would be how I troll an internet forum?


I believe perhaps you were looking for the word 'shill'. I can only assume that is what you meant, since it is the popular insult on this forum , thrown around by those who refuse to accept that other people can come to separate conclusions regarding a subject on their own accord.

It appears it hasn't been released. Furthermore, the technology isn't to spy on you, it is to determine how many people are in a room, watching the television. That is nothing new.


Id be EXTREMELY happy to see the microphone and camera in your existing box, THAT would be interesting.

It it isn't the television that is a losing technology, it is moreso the cable TV that is.

Technology is rapidly changing, and I suspect it won't be long (within the decade) until it is all internet-based.

If someone at a network wants to know what I am watching, who the eff cares? Its not like they can SEE into our houses... gesus.

Sounds like the data being collected is nothing to be concerned about.

I gave up TV when they started all this black box business with the crazy stuff they can do.

Also most utility companies replacing your current electric meter with the new Smart ones...

There hasn't been anythign good on tv since they cancelled Gilligans Island.

The devices even know how much heat your using and what room your in based on predictive analysis such as this. anonymous turns the heat down to 65 at night so he likely in the master bedroom upstairs.

This same technology is used for cell phones to get a prediction of where your gonna be and for how long.

I remember the Jackson super bowl act - I was one of those who rec it. They most likely know everything on. I also heard they sell some of the stats.

Yep and this why they want people to use facebook so they know who your friends are and where your gonna run when shtf.
