Manhunt for former LA Whistlblower sounds like a case of 'Bird on a Wire' -honest cop with nowhere to hide
According to documents from a court of appeals hearing in October 2011, Dorner was fired from the LAPD after he made a complaint against his field training officer, Sgt. Teresa Evans, saying in the course of arrest she kicked suspect Christopher Gettler, a schizophrenic with severe dementia.

Following an investigation, Dorner was fired for making false statements.

Richard Gettler, the schizophrenic man's father, gave testimony that supported Dorner's claim. After his son was returned on July 28, 2007, Richard Gettler asked "if he had been in a fight because his face was puffy" and his son responded that he was kicked twice in the chest by a police officer, he testified.

Looks to me like this Officer was fired for telling the truth, and now, he's a hunted man.

Here's what the LAPD doesn't want people to know:

The violence is getting out of hand.

Two Women Shot in Vehicle Mistaken for Dorner’s

TORRANCE, Calif. — Los Angeles and Torrance Police were involved in two shootings in Torrance Thursday during the manhunt for an ex-LAPD officer.

The shootings happened after police came across vehicles they thought might belong to suspect Christopher Jordan Dorner, 33.

The first incident happened about 5:30 a.m. in the 19500 block of Redbeam Avenue. It involved Los Angeles police detectives from the Hollywood division.

Two women delivering newspapers were struck by gunfire. They were taken to area hospitals, Torrance police said.

One was shot in the hand and the other in the back, according to Jesse Escochea, who captured video of the victims being treated.

Police said the women were riding in a truck similar to the one that Dorner is believed to be driving — a blue or gray Nissan Titan.

Their blue pickup was riddled with bullet holes and what appeared to be newspapers were scattered in the street.

The second incident, which involved Torrance police officers, happened around 5:45 a.m. at Flagler Lane and Beryl Street. No injuries were reported in that incident.

The rookies are being led one by one into the little boys room and given the message that if you don't play the game, and keep your bleeping mouth shut, this is what's going to happen to you too.
