What are your thoughts of how to advance the human race?

In case anyone gets the wrong idea I am agnostic (an atheist that believes in infinity) and apolitical (I outright reject left and right. Up is freedom, down is slavery, take your pick, with wisdom if possible).

But, as much as I agree, the totalitarians will not allow a 'belief' vacuum, hence, all the new age initiatives (many of which were followed by Hitler?? - Godwins Law be damned) to replace religion.

Just like 'religion' these followers do not truely understand critical thought (nor do I but I'm further along the road than they I hope, simply for the sheer fact that I can see it) and that they are the new fascists.

It took me a long time to reconcile the fact that these 'progressives' think that making laws to ban as much as possible that 'offends' them cannot see the paradox of what they preach.

It hurts more due to the fact that I believe in much of what they are trying to achieve but without recognising the trap they have found themselves ensnared within (kudos to the PTB for their perfect loop as much as it pains me).

But you are correct as far as the human condition allows us to think for ourselves, co-operate and simply let and let live without ruining that which sustains us.

I think the thing that disappoints me most is that this is not the human civilisation that will coplonise the universe (for better or worse for the universe but that is most likely the point). Hopefully the next cycle. The evidence so far does not fill me with hope even a further 26,000 years down the track.

I signed up for Mars-One I'm ready to get off this earth even though I'll have to train for 10 years if im picked out of all the people that signed up for a one way ticket to mars in 2023 they first will have a rover go and ste every thing up water, Air in the pods, pods, power from the sun, food in the green houses. Do you know how much the Olympics brings in only broadcasting for 3 weeks 4 billion dollars! Now imagine cameras on mars filming 24/7 for 50 years. They already have backing by spaxe x the people that sent people to the ISS this is non nasa non gov mission. Im sure once this becomes clearer they will be in a race vs the people. Just like sputnik. I don't see that because they shut down the shuttle program and we are hitching rides with the Russians it's funny oh the irony :)

To advance this human race to the next stage, it needs to be ready to accept the fact that we are not alone. And, with that knowledge, focus more on the outside, rather than against others. But, the next step will bring a power into hands that better know what they hold. The power to destroy all. Too many loose cannons out there for this. I do not see it happening, this next advance. A mature mind is what it would take to use this as nothing more than an everyday tool and I do not see many of them out there.
