Love Florida man, got my 10 acres, not much but it's ours. People are super friendly, polite. Compared to Montreal cold, snow n shit and the multitudes of welfares (quebec's version of trailer trash) and squeegees and the almost impossibility of defending yourself, FLA is heaven even if summer is rain every day, it clears up pretty fast. Every country has people like that, Canada too. I think though because you have a larger population it means a larger share of aholes but not necessary anymore than any place else. So in the end its about the same all countries have them.

I lived in the states for awhile when I was young and it was great. Had plenty of good friends and knew plenty of good people. The only annoying thing is when people find out you're Canadian they say eh after everything.

I think you'll find the USA is just a CANADIAN STATE as the USA were humiliated in defeat when they tried and failed to invade CANADA to force them to become another US State. This event was in 1812 and the USA likes to erase this war from their tiny history...I wonder why. It's worth mentioning that the USA lost a lot of territory during there debacle and only got it back after begging for a peace agreement. In Canada the victory is widely celebrated but they don't force it down there neighbours throat unlike the USA celebrations. The USA defeat is never mentioned within....lol!

I love going to the US. (not the flying, driving part though)

Most of the people I have met there were great. From the Southern hospitality of TN, to the gracious an well mannered of the Midwest.

I have a sibling who lives in UT that I visit now and then. People there are great and everyone is so inviting.


What I am not so keen on are the urban areas. But that goes for both countries.
