How were you introduced to the concept of the Chemtrail conspiracy?

The odds are against it.
The chances of having the right camera 'in hand' are astronomical.
Each of 10 passes is 30 seconds or so, it happened 6 times in 6 years, 100,000 to 1 odds.
Field of view is usually 1 degree, fast moving speck in the sky, 30 seconds to find it... odds are never.
But hope springs eternal... that Celestron aircraft radar tracking accessory option might work... :)

The deliberate spraying of particulates into the atmosphere is extremely obvious and plentiful for numerous reasons - different appearance than normal contrails, different flight patterns than normal air traffic, different dispersal and spread pattern than normal contrails, obvious creation of haze and white sky from blue, and many others.

This thread is pure disinfo, mixing fact with doubt with irrelevency with trivia, and asking people to prove the obvious, to consider themselves as potentially wrong when they feel no such need, and to deny the fundamental legitimacy of people's observations of the sky unless they are certified aeronautical engineers.

Bunk. They're spraying the hell out of the skies, and the whole world knows it. It's screwed with th wheather, it's screwed with the crops, it's screwed with the rain and the storms, and whenever anyone analyzes the crap, it's filled with so many toxins it's a wonder we're not already dead.

Then you get an asshole coming on and saying, "now, think carefully, are you absolutely, positively, sure that you know what an airplane is? Can you explain how a jet engine works? Why do you think decades of watching normal aircraft in the sky has anything to do with your ability to remember what a normal aircraft contrail looks like? Do you always go around claiming to be an expert in things you don't have a Ph.D. in? Have you ever actually flown a multi-engine jet plane yourself? Then why on earth do you think you can say that that heavy, thick, white, crossed-x pattern in the sky that turn the sky completely white, smells like chemicals and dries your skin, leaving white poisonous crud on everything, isn't completely ordinary and normal? Do you have a doctorate in cellular biology? Well, DO you?

I saw a couple of videos on YouTube about them -- didn't think too much about it, other than "we didn't get trails like that when I was a kid".

About a year later, my mum pointed out that the planes were leaving trails that would make the sky hazy as the day wore on. She doesn't surf the internet (can't use email) and had no idea about any conspiracy, so that set my interest off. She had noticed the chemtrails without even knowing about the conspiracy.

I live in the South West of England -- official documents show that the government sprayed chemical weapons from the 1960s to the early 1990s:

Offering alternative explanations for something is not necessarily an attack on someone's position . . . it may well help one to clarify and explain their own position to others . . . I am not saying anyone is wrong . . . this Thread is open to persons who hold opposing views . . . I actually find myself somewhere between the two extremes . . .

I am sure simulations and some experimentation may have been done . . .

i've lived near a small airfield for over thirty years. i know what the sky is supposed to look like, i know the routes of planes that should be visible above me. changes were very visible, starting some twelve years ago. nobody seemed to notice, nobody seemed to care. people are asleep sheep.

look out for the chemrail gun in the upcoming movie "Elysium", the sequel to District 9...

Seems the psychological impact of a visual change in the skies is very significant to people who have noticed it . . . I think this is a very logical and human response . . .

I have taken notice since 1997.Although a chemtrails presense is obvious,we arn't included in the reason behind them.
I don't consider a "chemtrail conspiracy".Just a fact.Big boss's fucking shit up as usual.

wha a chemtrail? Is that what nobody do?

Remote Spectroscopy may ID elements and possibly simple molecules but is not quantitative so one needs 'in situ' samples to really prove much of anything . . .

I think if you cannot prove chemtrails exist to the main stream society by definition it is still a conspiracy . . .

You are absolutely correct. I think that George B has an agenda. the difference with him and other shills is that he is using psychological methods of being nice but sneaky.

He doesn't fool all the people. I have been noticing this for a long time now with all his threads.
Often I wonder if he is not working alone.

I looked up at the sky one day, and Holy Crap! there they were. I've been a believer ever since.

I do have an agenda . . . I want a rational discussion/debate between the two extremes of the Chemtrail conspiracy . . . I am between the two in many ways . . . I also want the people who support the existence of chemtrails to understand the science behind the alternate explanations for trails in the sky . . . that in no way harms their advocacy of their position . . . I think it helps them to justify their position . . .

By the way, I am quite alone . . . I am usually rejected by both extremes . . . however, I have a thick skin . . .
