the OP 's link is actually consistent with what had been reported in the media, that Dorner believes he was fired unjustly for reporting a colleague had assaulted a suspect

personally i agree with Dorner based on the evidence at the link, the father of the guy who was supposedly kicked said that his son's face was puffy and that his son said that he had been kicked, and the son himself said he had been kicked during an interview (albeit only once, whereas Dorner says it was more than once)

based on the review board's actions you'd think that if you report wrongdoing in the PD you had better be able to prove it ; if you can't prove it, based on their decision in this case, you would think they would decide you were lying and fire you for making false statements.

thats waht they did … other witnesses said they didn't see that the suspect was kicked, but they didn't say that they saw he was NOT kicked, and the father and the son (who is mentally ill) say that he was kicked.

based on that they decided he was lying ? at best they could decide that there was insufficient evidence to discipline the colleague he accused

Maybe something entirely different happened and someone wrote it to make him look crazy?

Maybe they wanted to silence him, and killing him is the best way, we see this happening on almost a daily basis now.

But the thing is that even if she did kick the suspect and other cops saw it they will lie and say they didn't see it. They fear for the loss of their job and even worse.

And you can bet it was a lesson for the other rookies to keep their mouths shut who were struggling with similar issues.

Dorner was a rookie and didn't realize he would loose his job by doing the right thing. The PD weeded him out early because they don't want someone around who will expose them. If this incident hadn't have happened, and Dorner had not been fired, he would have seen a lot worse than a couple of kicks by now. Guaranteed.

I think he was wrongly terminated after reading the files at the link but loosing your job and your "name" is not justification for what he is allegedly doing. What worries me the most is that Evans is at the top of his list and she has children. He's allegedly already shown that he has no qualms about going after the children of his enemies when he shot the lawyers daughter (if he indeed did it).

The reason I say "if he indeed did it" is there is a slight chance this whole thing is a set up against him if he filed a complaint at the state or federal level. He wasn't at the end of the rope. There were more avenues to pursue. It is something that his former department would fear the most. I haven't heard that he had but if he did it wouldn't surprise me a bit that he is being set-up. And if he hasn't gone above the PD with his complaints why hasn't he? It was an option for him to do so and since he seems very intelligent it just seems he would. Maybe he threatened to do so. But maybe not. Just looking at possibilities. I guess I'm just so suspicious of the politics in LE that I can't get this slight possibility out of my mind.

But he did seem very prepared with a well thought out plan so I'd say the possibilities of a set-up are slim actually. It's probably just a case of a good guy who snapped and is narcissistic enough to feel he has the right to avenge the wrongs against him with these extreme actions.

Just to level set. Even if the guy was fired wrongly, don't paint the guy as a hero for killing not only people he accuses, but their innocent family members. Keep a perspective please. Any right that guy had to righteousness was lost with the first bullet. And I'm sure most of those he accused were just doing their jobs and worked with the evidence they had. Guy's behavior may just maybe suggest he has a screw loose and perhaps that had something to do with the way the investigation went down. Please don't see the guy as a hero. He's really not.
