Widgets are javascript based embedded code - this very GLP website contains many! Those that must yield this warning, are those that seek to do "evil", or harm other consciousness, as you may refer. - IndygoGh0st |

Ask yourself this... Why are there so MANY sites that now let you logon with your FB id and password? Why? Everything you do on the sites you use after using FB id to logon is being data collected on FB servers. FOREVER. Just thought you might want to know. |

Never heard of anything like that being considered. I don't use Facebook, have to wonder how that would work for people like me. Did think there was something more to this incident than meets the eye though. Wouldn't think it's that easy to take over the whole Internet and redirect major sites such as CNN that easily, apps or no apps. Glitch or no glitch. |

Also amazing that the computers we are willing to pay for and the software installed on them are by default set to share data with any site we visit . Amazing. Have to jumps through hoops to ensure even some tiny measure of privacy and be ever vigilant in checking those settings because they occasionally revert back to the defaults. Hardware and software we purchase and own and ave limited power to control what data of our is given to others. Geolocation. Lol . Now tv's are entering the stage, cars with black boxes, smart meters ......right to privacy ? Gone. |

snark Forum Administrator User ID: 1050548 United States 02/08/2013 03:54 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It was really weird!! It happened to me when I was on the daily mail uk site homepage trying to click a story. Kept redirecting me to a FB error page. CRAZEBALLS. T For Texas, T For Tennessee! The virtue of courage is a prerequisite for the practice of all other virtues, because otherwise one is virtuous only when virtue has no cost. There are times when something needs to be done, and yet we know that if we step up and do this needful thing, we will pay a heavy personal price. -C.S. Lewis |
