1138. ConnecticutWXGuy11:01 AM GMT em 09 de Fevereiro de 2013 Looking at storm reports, it appears that a swath of 30+ inch snow totals exists from central Long Island up through central and parts of eastern Connecticut. Numerous reports of plows getting stuck.... not to mention I am currently watching a plow driver dig his plow out after he got stuck on Route 63 which is in close proximity to my house.
For Connecticut, this storm was the storm of all storms.
The only parts of cars visible are the top couple inches of radio antennas.
About an hour ago, I witnessed two fire trucks headed towards a call waiting for a plow to plow for them... this is the same plow that got stuck and they had to wait for a secondary plow that appeared better equipped to arrive.
This is just absolutely surreal, folks. If you don't live here you can't even begin to imagine the scene. I feel bad for the troubles this storm has caused, but honestly I am incredibly thankful to have gotten an opportunity to see it in person. To a weather buff, this is just an absolute masterpiece... I don't know if I'll ever look at any storm the same again unless it happens to rival this one.
Quoting: Luisport Unbelievable.. I keep hearing there may be another storm hitting later this week.. What is that looking like? Quoting: Ap0c@Lyp5e yes, biger than this one! Quoting: Luisport God help them.. There will be no where to put it all!!
