feminism and the pendulumn
imagine a pendulum swinging back & forth. eventually it runs out of momentum and falls center.

that is how social change happens. society has an incredible amount of inertia, this means you can push for some time before it will move. it also means once you stop pushing it will continue to move for a time, and may move further than you intended.

this is called overshoot.

feminism has always been about equality, seriously. as with anything there have been women who used feminism to hurt men, but that is the unnotable exception. what is worth noting is that "feminism" is just "equality" (we used the word feminism at the time because the pendulum was 'generally' too far over to the male side).

we hear alot of men are hurting right now, they feel lost & confused with the changes which have happened since the feminist movement. in some cases its just men whining who need to grow up, in other cases we HAVE gone too far.

some men want to blame feminism & women for this, that is a sad mistake to make because its very hard to find perfect alignment with a heavy object (society), we are merely experiencing overshoot in certain areas of life just as in other areas of life we still have to push further towards the center (towards the feminine influence).

it takes an equal share of female & male influence to create a the perfect society
