For everyone thinking the cop did the right thing i'd be interested to know your opinion on whether the female cop did the right thing internal cavity searching those 2 women at the side of the road? Did they also deserve it? Did the owners of pets who were "mistakenly" shot by police deserve to get their animals killed?

At what point will you say enough is enough? Grow a spine and see this for what it is, complete and utter misuse of authority via common assault.

Alternatively, please proceed to your nearest FEMA camp entrance and wait patiently to be implanted with your microchip and barcoded. Extreme example yes, but the way some people are calling this acceptable behaviour really does make me worry alot that most people are already lost to the system and will accept anything that is handed down via a badge wearer.

I have to agree with you again because I have had over 30 police encounters and did not get my ass kicked any of the times except once and that time I had try to evade them, struggle and avoid arrest. Even then, the beating was light and justified. The facts are most cops are fucking cool people doing their job, but of course there are bad apples like this douche cop who needs to be fired or disciplined for being such a bully ass lil kid. I can only imagine what he does when off camera.

But I still want to box you without a gun nearby if at all possible. Maybe at the GLP 2013 convention we can meet up? ;)

First off the cop stepped up to him then complains that he got in the cops face. The video says that the cop needs an attitude adjustment.

Sorry BRIEF. But you obviously have a bias when it comes to cops. You should refrain from speaking in these threads because nobody takes what you say seriously anyway.

It seems they were standing on his chest, since you can hear him groaning and they keep asking him if he is done. I am certain there is activity we are not seeing causing the groaning and the extreme change in demeanor from the victim.

Cops are or should be trained to deal with upset public, argumentative and distraught people. The stress of a crime effects people differently, this guy CLEARLY was upset they took 45 mins to get there, and rightly so! There is absolutely no justification for them hitting him, let alone whatever it was they did to him we could not see, and then ARRESTING HIM!

It took 45 minutes for the police to show up a my house when a guy pulled an AK on me in my alley and my wife called 911.

The guy was long gone and of course the cops acted like they were in complete control of the situation. I was building a cedar chest on a Sunday afternoon in my garage, wearing a tool belt, covered in sawdust with the chest on a bench in front of me. One cop says "what are YOU doing here?" I laughed and said "YOU'RE not going for detective, are you?" He came at me and his friend laughed and stopped him.

Some cops are good, some are a joke. It's fun when a bad one gets owned and laughed at by his partner. I WIN! It made up for all the crap they did to us when we were kids in Chicago. Like breaking a girls kneecap for NO reason, who never even opened her mouth. Or shooting a 14 year old unarmed friend in the back and doing an investigation finding it "a good shooting".

Now the cops I work with are the guys who HATE all the low IQ, big shot attitude *boys* and for some reason, when one of those guys needs help, they're a little slower to respond. They have their own ways of dealing with incompetence.

Ok, here's the thing...

1. The guy bitches about the time it took the cops to get there...

This pisses the cops off and the situation goes down hill from there.

You have just as much right to bitch to a cop about their response time as you have right to bitch at the manager of a McDonalds...

The cop has no right...0 right to demand the guy stop bitching about the response time.

2. As for the guy being asked to extinguish his cigarette... No problem there, It's a common courtesy thing and technically the officer could claim assault if the guy's smoke came near the officer.

3. As for the "in your face"... It is difficult to tell. The officer has learned to use the camera to his advantage as well as to narrate the scene for future reference.

4. The officer should be not only fired but charged with assault AND battery.

mr. robles has a future with special sound effects ,iam sure someone in hollywood could use his talents .talkin shit to the guys who are there to help you, and makin weird buzzzzzzzing sounds ............ priceless.

They don't have to put up with verbal abuse or intimidation...the punk did both and then got his ass handed to him...next time be nice :)
