you guys defending the cop are idiotic. THE COP STEPPED UP TO HIM, not the other way around. All the guy said was "US Soldier, know who you are talking to?" which obviously was enough to activate the overactive cop's ego that is already in a power trip overdrive. Yes the cops MUST be tough as individuals, but they don't have to use every situation to display their ego's need for validation by exerting power over others in situations that CLEARLY posed no danger to ANYONE. The cop KNEW he would get a reaction from the guy and HE KNEW he would end up punching the guy, he SET HIM UP for it.
