He was against bullying and made many reports about fellow officers' use of excessive force. His manifesto (the un-redacted one) includes numerous details of corruption in LAPD that he had complained about which is why he got fired.

Whatever else he is or is not, these are facts leading up to his getting fired and one of the reasons for media spin and attempts to cover up these embarrassing details about the corrupt 'federalized' LAPD.

My work was affected yesterday on lock down(although I was of yesterday in Long Beach running errands)... the police officer he shot was down the street from my work building (Riverside). Anyways, an hour ago I filled my tank with gas and I saw a black man with a beanie in a black honda accord and he looked like this guy! I was about to say something, when I see a teen get in his car and I took a better look and this man was not as huge as Droner. I thoguht, wow now everyoen here in So. Calif. are on their pees and ques keeping an eye out for him suspecting all the big black guys like I just did. Very weird!

5* OP! This isn't going to end good. This morning I heard on news they have dogs out sniffing for him in Big Bear and they said - well, he cna be anywhere now.

After reading "Manifesto", whatever that is, it looks like the dude had witnessed an inappropriate beating of a suspect.

This one is so laid out like a movie, that I would go see, that it smacks of the elite rubbing our faces in their ability to manipulate people and news to meet their end.

Trust me, every political hot potato is encompassed in this one, from gun control, to using FB for profiling, black boxes for vehicles, possible regulation of police officer's priveledges to carry service weapons off duty, his alleged manifestos' racial implications (all targets white), his mental state will be questioned, alleged corruption (can lead to tighter government control of law enforcement), etc.
