I'm starting this thread as a collaborative, constantly updated thread, if everyone in the area of the storm wants to post any pictures or videos of the storm this is the place to do it.

3:00pm (Whitinsville, MA) The snow seems to be accumulating now. There's about 2 inches on the ground, and a dusting on the main roads. We'll see how this turns out.
--------------------------------------------------------------

4:30pm I'm about to step out and make a few measurements of the snow accumulated, and will be using the live stream to do so. Check it out!

I live near brockton, it is just a snow storm, calm down. most of it will be melted by next weekend.

That being said. Started snowing around 8:30AM, but only about an inch on the grass and streets still clear, but they have been treated a few times from some of these smaller storms.

I'm perfectly calm, just documenting it. I saw a post earlier this morning about how the snow is a hoax, so getting out early from work, I decided to have fun with it. What the else could I be doing? lol

I saw a comment somewhere that someone else had thought it was noon as well. They probably changed it because business are just letting people go.

Where are you that they are plowing already? Just saw one go by on the live feed.

No, I wasn't. But I have lived in New England all of my life, and have heard countless stories about it. Where does your question get it's relevance?

I was just wondering. People old enough to have lived through that storm, I was about 8, judge any winter storm based on that one.

Yeah man. 1978. Me and my buddy Chris spent the night on foot with snow shovels. We dug people out who were stuck in their cars. We wouldnt take any money. People were stuffing bills into our coat pockets. When nobody was left, we smoked a few bowls, and walked to the local bar and threw some snow money around. Some nuts came by at 3am with a snowmobile and gave us a few rides. Good time. RIP Chris. Miss ya man.
