Anonymous Coward User ID: 11748687 United States 02/09/2013 02:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 11748687 That's a very good point. You see that police officer in this story likely is/was mentally unstable. Some sort of power complex going on, that prevented him from making just, fair and rationale decisions on the job. This former police officer that is being hunted down is likely mentally unstable and the police department that he worked for fired him for it. So he wants "revenge". I hope some people here are getting it. The very thing that you are all upset about...the wrong people wearing a uniform is what is the issue here. For some reason some of you just don't see that this Donner guy is not the kind of guy we want wearing a police uniform. The LAPD are not always the "bad guys". Wow have you missed the boat on this! The point of this whole thing is there is NO evidence nor any claimed evidence other than a friggin internet post. This guy has been tried and prosecuted by the media on nothing more than an internet post. And based on that internet post we have police opening fire on innocent people and searching house to house and pulling over searching vehicles on the freeways. THAT is the point. btw just for your benefit I'll repeat here - Dorner received many awards from both the Navy and also from LAPD - how would he get these awards if he mentally unstable. You need to study a bit deeper and think seriously how any of this story can possibly affect your future or the future of your friends and family if cops are allowed to search without warrant and open fire without identifying what they are shooting at, people are guilty without trial and no evidence required. I understand your point. The PD should have to prove that the guy killed the people they claimed he killed, first, before they go out shooting at him. My point is that I have a little more faith in the PD then that. That perhaps they have the proof? Perhaps not. your mentality is exactly what the desired police state prescribes.... Just curious. How many people should die, before your mentality changes? Serious question. Should they only bring him in alive? |

These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team. |

But then I thought too about the protections we as Americans are supposed to have - innocent until proven guilty - fair trial - no unreasonable searches - etc etc...... Is it worse for an innocent man to go to jail or is it worse for a guilty man to run free? I have to look myself in the mirror and if I do not say something I am just as guilty as those breaking the law and violating rights, justified by a friggin internet post. Fear mongering on tv based on an internet post from a suspicious facebook account. Remember - we were told that if you see something, say something. Ok I'll play their little game - I saw something and it wasn't right so I'm saying something. We don't know what evidence links him to any murders other than an internet post. I have no opinion of Dorner at this point other than he has a great smile and received awards from Navy and LAPD and had a great looking truck. I would not be able to pick him out of a lineup of big black bald men unless he were to smile. I only have opinion that the reaction seems unjustified given what us sheep have been told by the talking heads. I do however have definite opinion of cops opening fire on those two trucks, and of the house-to-house searches and pulling over every truck that closely resembles Dorner's truck. |
