The fire is out already, right? aka no big deal.

Did someone actually find a rifle sling in the bathroom??
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15201721

So far they have a rifle sling and 1 22 cal revolver...
 Quoting: Requiemdream (Ghost)

You mean they are finding these weapons at the school? I don't understand... who has them, and why?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15201721

According to the 'story' he is leaving weapons behind like droppings. Left them with the truck too...idk, makes no sense to me at all...
Perpetually dumbfounded.

I'm really confused - was the heating unit at the school? Was the 22 at the school? I'm no good at this listening to scanners - its quiet for so long I start doing something and then when talking starts I'm not paying attention......

On the scanner they said all rooms were clear except roof access so asked if they could just do a fly over for him - I wondered if it would be helicopter or drone doing that.

I think they'd be on to that by now.... Missing persons reports would be highly suspect in the area contemporaneous to the truck fire

Anything is possible I guess but don't think he'd want a hostage at this point since one would slow him down. He'd only want one if they had him cornered somewhere.

This is Chris Dorner. If you're listening to this, you are the resistence. Listen carefully, if we attack tonight, our humanity is lost. Command wants us to fight like machines. They want us to make cold, calculated decisions. But we are not machines! And if we behave like them, then WHAT IS THE *POINT* IN WINNING? Command is going to ask you to attack Skynet. I am asking you not to. If even one bomb drops on Skynet before sunrise, our future will be lost. So please stand down. Give me time to protect the future that all of us are fighting for. Re: California Manhunt
Yes folks thats the only thing they claim to have to go on here. And btw that facebook account was created only 2 weeks ago, with ZERO friends, and no comments. He posted over a total of SIX days. Who did he expect to see the manifesto? Nobody was reading his facebook account.

Is there a possibility that the Irvine murders might be a separate incident than the cop shootings? Is there a possibility that this guy did not start the facebook page? Until we have the answers to those two questions (such as what weapons used in both murders, maybe some surveillance video, perhaps chasing down an IP address of facebook editor, etc) I'm not buying this story.
 Quoting: BunnyGirl

I got the feeling this guy was smart enough to create a presence for the media to grab hold of before starting his war.

What horrible pics would they have found elsewhere to splatter all over the news? He wanted to give the public a personality they could identify with and warm up to.

...I mean come on! Look at that smile! The guy has heart and looks like an honorable badass in service of his country.

Now take someone like that and fuck them in the ass like the LAPD did and you get what you have now. They ruined his life cause some stupid pig bitch had to kick a mentally retarded kid in the face after he was already restrained and this guy's conscious could not simply ignore that so he did something about it and they ruined him for it. Not just his job but his military career which was something he was very proud of.

These pigs are going to get what they deserve and they are the one's who caused this. NOT Dorner! they put him on this path that he now feel obligated to carry out. They took everything from him for nothing and what does a man do once he has nothing left to lose?

When there is no justice left what is one to do? ...well this guy is using his skills and training to do what he can.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8443185

Wrong. HE is responsible for what he did. Many people are pushed to the brink, for many different reasons. When no justice is left what is one to do?! Really?? One is to deal with it. Not go on a sociopathic rage filled murdering spree.
 Quoting: Little Willow

When is enough enough? When is there a breaking point?

Cops get to go around shooting and beating whoever and whatever they want for little to no reason at all with little to no repercussions.

They took a good man and made him a monster.

Keep in mind he is a soldier he was trained to kill. He was sanctioned to murder for the government and has likely already done so in patriotic service and is familiar with death. That being the case death no longer has the same weight it does for you or I.

You act like these cops are good people. They are not and are responsible for the death and suffering of many unjustly.

He discovered a big serious corruption problems first hand in the police department and it disillusioned him and ruined his life. You think it is all about himself and revenge? If so you are wrong. This is about bullshit that has been allowed to perpetuate and grow within our so called "peace keepers" service. There are very few good cops now and they keep their mouths shut and cover for the bad ones or they would lose their jobs and be a "no" cop just like this fellow.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8443185

Sad.

No,this isn't how normal people with a conscience handle things.

Well another shooting.

Mistaken identity AGAIN.

this time it was a white surfer

[link to www.latimes.com]

Torrance police say the man was driving a pickup resembling the fugitive's. The incident happened just after the LAPD fired on women delivering newspapers nearby.

David Perdue was on his way to sneak in some surfing before work Thursday morning when police flagged him down. They asked who he was and where he was headed, then sent him on his way.

Seconds later, Perdue's attorney said, a Torrance police cruiser slammed into his pickup and officers opened fire; none of the bullets struck Perdue.
