No matter what his cause, he's going about it the wrong way. I don't condone killing people unless it's self defense, so I can't "support" him.
The cops are no better with shooting up random vehicles with no threat assessment, and should be tried for attempted murder along with plenty of other charges.
This just won't end well.Neither side will back down.
I'm afraid he'll be killed before the whole truth can come out.

If they drone strike this guy is there going to be enough DNA to ID him? Or do they just use tiny little missles and only blow off his legs? Or does it matter if they get the right guy anyway?

Maybe a drone stike would serve the same purpose of a Bin Laden Burial at Sea though. And if cops start getting wacked again because they got the wrong guy, they can declare "unofficial martial law" again. This whole thing is a giant clusterfuck to me.

People have their own experiences with these issues to draw on. You are over simplifying. They realize that it's not as black or white as you would like to make out. If I remember correctly someone recently shot and killed the person who molested their child. They were not even charged. People understood how one could be driven to such an act. It doesn't mean they condone it.

I think our nation is in a far more dangerous state when we watch officers of the law shoot to kill without question rather than attempt to apprehend a suspect. When they don't even bother to check and see if it is indeed the suspect they are shooting at. When we clearly see them acting as judge, jury and executioners. When they feel they have the right to go out and shoot innocent citizens down because they're facing a real or imagined threat. When it's accepted and acknowledged that those very same officers doing these things are corrupt and operating with impunity. When lone ,rare acts of violence are used to take away and infringe on the rights of the majority of the population That's when we're in danger of living in "Nazi" Germany. I think we're already living that particular fear of yours.

Re: California Manhunt
This story is yet another bizarre situation. What do we know so far?

We have a statewide unbelievably large manhunt going on, based on......

wait for it...........

something posted on the internet!

Yes folks thats the only thing they claim to have to go on here. And btw that facebook account was created only 2 weeks ago, with ZERO friends, and no comments. He posted over a total of SIX days. Who did he expect to see the manifesto? Nobody was reading his facebook account.

We have a witness who recognized him at 1:30 in the morning (yes it was dark outside!) through tinted windows. So big question did he recognize the man or the description of the truck? Btw this witness admits the plates on the truck did not match the plates the media said belong to Chris Dorner!

Two police officers, out of their own county, involved in a shootout and the car is disabled by the gunfire.

The next shooting has no witnesses - neither victim was in condition of any sort to discuss who shot them. Maybe the survivor can talk today. But will his testimony be unbiased and objective with all that has occurred since his surgery yesterday? Maybe, maybe not. Will he even be able to talk today? Hard to say.

Then we have a mistaken identity in San Diego which shut down a military facility. Did you see the mistaken identity guy on TV? I can see why they mistook him - big guy - similar appearance - both very good looking big black men - how often does mistaken identity happen? Never? Well this one shut down a military facility. How many times does the witness or victim say 'it was a big black man' when describing their attacker without describing hair, clothing, facial hair, scars, tatoos, teeth, other markings, height, weight, etc....... My guess is that every time someone said 'big black man' yesterday there was sudden jump to conclusions that it was Chris Dorner (such as the boat thing in San Diego......)

Then we have TWO different trucks - one is burned up in Big Bear - the other found in San Diego. Which one is the real truck? What? He's in a white CAR today? Seriously! Why don't we just stop every friggin car on the freeway today! Why not - they went searching HOUSE TO HOUSE last night!

So in response to the above, we have the largest manhunt ever, which includes TWO separate incidents of police opening fire on innocent civilians - one of which put a 71 year old little Asian woman in ICU because she was shot IN THE BACK! Multiple vehicles and houses sustained damage due to these two shootings.

Folks NONE of this would stand up in court. Because cops [usually?] try to ensure their actions are well documented and will stick in court - my guess is that they will shoot to kill if they find this man. They have to now just because of what THEY'VE done.

SOMETHING IS SERIOUSLY WRONG HERE!!

Is there a possibility that the Irvine murders might be a separate incident than the cop shootings? Is there a possibility that this guy did not start the facebook page? Until we have the answers to those two questions (such as what weapons used in both murders, maybe some surveillance video, perhaps chasing down an IP address of facebook editor, etc) I'm not buying this story.

I believe that we need to see or hear about some real evidence. What we're being told by the media is not even close to strong enough evidence to effectively shut down all police activity in SoCal and start an unbelievably large and crazy manhunt.

I am quite surprised that there is not OUTRAGE at innocent civilians being caught up in gunfire on TWO separate occasions! Media is downplaying this civilian shooting situation while hyping the fear of the cop shooter. When the smoke clears from this please remember what happened here yesterday. Cops are people too and make mistakes - yesterday is a very good example that they too can be manipulated and scared into being trigger happy. What the cops did yesterday in Torrence is JUST AS BAD, IF NOT WORSE, than what they are accusing Chris Dorner of. Guaranteed entertainment once lawyers get hold of that.

Has the media told you... LAPD Chief Bill Bratton retired years ago to take on a Consulting role for a firm that is charged with providing Global Crisis and Security Management. He was later appointed chairman of this same group.

Chief Bill Bratton is the same man that has been featured in photographs with Christopher Dorner, and who has now been interviewed countless times.

But why has the media failed to refer to Bratton as anything other than a "Former Chief of the LAPD"? Why not introduce him with his current titles - "Chairman of Altegrity Risk International where he consulted on security for criminal justice agencies worldwide."

[link to www.forbes.com]

Want to know where this Firm is located? Oh, in Los Angeles of course:

[link to www.kroll.com]

Wonder why their website looks like this one:

[link to www.altegrity.com]

This website says the following on Bratton:

"William J. Bratton is the Chairman of Kroll Advisory Solutions, a global leader in risk mitigation and response. He built his career in law enforcement, developing innovative ways to avert and address crime. He has served as chief of the Los Angeles Police Department and commissioner of the New York Police Department and Boston Police Department."

[link to thenetworkportrait.com]

Oh, and guess just who else has been a huge proponent of Gun Control, right around the time of his new job responsibilities following his retirement? Yup, you guessed it:

"Ex-NYPD top cop Bill Bratton pushing for overdue ban on assault-weapons ammo clips"

[link to www.nydailynews.com]

Still not onto him? Okay, how about being involved in a failed Venezuelain coup:

"Was Oakland police consultant William Bratton involved in the failed Venezuela coup? And if he was, should Oaklanders be concerned?"

[link to news.yahoo.com]

Now, I can't be certain ... but this damn "man-hunt" seems to be a blunt attempt to invoke the use of everything from heat-seeking helicopters to drones and open-fire force on innocent civilians. We don't know the name or identity of the cop who was supposedly killed ... and a 30-pg. manifesto admitting guilt ... but a burned out truck trying to cover up the man's tracks.

If this all makes sense to you, be on your way. If not, maybe try doing some research with the GLP Investigative Team and learn why this is unfolding, and why now.
