In case the OP is serious - Dear OP: While you have a right to your values and your opinions. You do not have the right to impose those values, opinions and beliefs on everyone else. Online groups such as VC tend to have their own rules and societal "norms" of behavior. Someone violating the general group norm of behavior will probably be called on it once or twice and then ignored or even asked to leave (getting an administrator to lock them out, if their behavior is outrageous enough and offensive enough to many of the members.)

Flirting however, - gay or straight - is a part of life. Would you be as "offended" if it were men and women exchanging the same comments?

No one is forcing you to participate and you even have some controls at your control panel to lock out or block certain other members if they really bother you or offend you. I don't know if they work on VC or not, but it might be worth trying. That way they could say what they wish and you wouldn't hear it. Of course that same person might also say something vital or important to the subject at hand and you'd miss that comment, too.

The Dutch Calvinists have an interesting attitude about other people and their sins: They believe that you are responsible to your maker for what you do or fail to do during your life. They have no right to judge you. That is left up to your Creator. These same people also believe it is a major sin against God to presume to judge your fellow man. If something is terribly offensive, they know that there is always the option of leaving the setting where it's happening, but they FIRMLY believe that what you do or don't do is between you and GOD and is none of their business, what-so-ever. It goes back to the biblical admonition of "Judge not lest ye be judged." Good advice if ever there was any spoken by mankind!
