I am sure we will see many more revelations that will prove you correct, on that point.

I happen to believe that we are all here for a reason...this is not a random occurrence. It is too fantastic a story that we are even here...it is absolutely amazing when you think about it.

I think at a certain level of awareness we can see and know the subconscious mind and then use that information to clear blocks and obstacles.

agent <-- he is checking the subconscious mind.

EXACTLY what I learned when I started studying Tai-CHi in the early 80's.

Toshio Seto was our "Grand Master". He lives in Japan and is absolutely the strongest man I could imagine. Even stronger now. His strength to some would seem like a "parlor trick" and to others, super-human. After you understand what he's doing, you know that it's natural to all of us.

On a visit Seto gave me what he considered the best English translation of the I Ching. It changed my life, and perfectly reflects OP's story.

Because Chinese is so hard to translate to Western languages, I bring to my library all the translations of the I Ching I can put my hands on. Would you be so kind as to tell us which translation you are referring to? Thank you.

Re: A Conscious Fog - Indra's Net
The "conscious fog" that designed the universe was the cosmic microwave background radiation, which is the oldest light in the Universe, and the remains of the fireball out of which our Universe sprang into existence 13.7 billion years ago.

This primordial light existed even before any star was born and it permeated the entire universe.

This thermal radiation is almost perfectly uniform, except for minute difference in temperature in certain spots of the universe. As it turned out, these spots are exactly where the stars and galaxies formed afterwards.

The microwave pattern is the cosmic blueprint from which today's clusters and superclusters of galaxies were built. The different colours represent minute differences in the temperature and density of matter across the sky. Somehow these small irregularities evolved into denser regions that became the galaxies of today.

I don't prescribe to the theory that the Big Bang happened. There is too much evidence against that now. It's just a tough paradigm to break down is all.

Re: A Conscious Fog - Indra's Net
Perhaps the "end goal" of consciousness is not allegorical; perhaps consciousness is the only thing which can not be reduced into metaphor...

Perhaps then, consciousness is a quanta and not a construct.

hmm

Nice thread Sept!

peace
 Quoting: Axo Azeratel

The consistent end goal of conciousness is in the beginning. As the deliniation of all subsequent flowerings of form.

As all thought exists to make inside exist as outside.

It truly is that simple.
However, you don't want answers, as that ends the intrinsic process of beginnings.

In all questions is housed the bated breath of the erotica of be coming.

I believe it was from Al Huang. Published in the early 1980's. I've been "in flux" , moving, for a couple of years and it's buried. But I've seen it in bookstores so it's a fairly popular version.

The master in Japan is Toshio Seto of Tokushinkai. He's a karate master that started studying Tai Chi in China from a man called "the Little Elephant". Toshio also did a stint as the emperor of Japan's bodyguard for a little while. He was into numerology as well. Let me look some more...

Definitely Al Huang. 8 1/2" x 11". The left side of the cover has graphics, the rest white with the title.

Re: A Conscious Fog - Indra's Net
Just remember this is a theory not fact. There are so many theories out there you can't wade though them. Some have a grain of true, the one about fear, fear does create what you fear.

A blind man from birth walks out of his house, he has a cane with him to feel the path in front and each side of him. He walks along feeling the path in front and the sides of him, then he is knocked to the ground. He couldn't see the tree limb that his head ran into. His being blind, that taught him, not only did he have to use the cane to feel on the front of him and the sides of him but there are things that he can't feel that way, his sense of knowing wasn't as good as it needs to be. The next time he uses his cane he will wave it above, to see if something or someone is there.

I certainly hope so. To think that I wrote this thinking it was fact would be absurd in the extreme. It is more an exploration of thought on old writings and science/philosophy books like "The Self-Aware Universe".
