Most of the people around here that use these ranges have already given them up all on their own. They are remote. The cows get lost. The calves get taken by wolves and coyotes and bears. You have to spend days and weeks finding them to get them off before winter.

Most people have to many cows on their property to be able to sustain them so they rent these leases from the government anyways. None of this property is owned around here. The cows consume the feed that the wildlife should be getting and shit is everywhere they go.
