im starting to think that the cops that were killed were the targets and others too and they probably supported the constitution..

Its just the start of it. It will spread out and create such panic in the local and state authorities they may change their mind about not enforcing the federal gun laws. If l.a and nola have already backed the bans then it may be done in those states just as a good measure so they don't back out at the last minute.

Why on earth would they think that citizens should revoke their right to defend themselves when the government, military, and police are armed to the hilt and have made it quite clear that they don't much care about humanity?

Spend a night on Youtube watching police brutality videos and help me to understand why citizens should not have an effective means of defense.
