Is normal.It has happened in MN before. We got a butt load of snow when it would thunder but it is a normal occurance.

I'm 36 and the first time I saw thundersnow was just last December 12/20/12 blizzard. I never heard of thundersnow before that.

Thundersnow is a natural phenomenon. But it is an extremely rare natural phenomenon. One that is on the rise. This does not bode well...

This phenomenon: colliding air masses typically occurs during spring time when tornadoes generally occur--cold Canadian air meeting warm air masses rising up from the gulf. BTW, Winter storms NEVER, until this year, had names.

I lived in Connecticut for several years in the Eighties and Nineties and experienced thundersnow several times; it's nothing new nor abnormal.

I would also be very wary of Medjugorje for that matter. The local bishop has always been negative towards that alleged apparition and I believe the Vatican is going to render a negative judgement on Medjugorje very soon. Personally, I think it is a hoax with demonic elements. When the bishop of Mostar released his dossier on laicized priest Tomislav Vlasic, in addition to sexual improprieties, Vlasic was guilty of trafficking in spirits.

i remember when i was a kid seeing lighting during a snow storm in Missouri. im 30 now so that was 20- 22 years ago. it does happen, not some new phenomena
