A black police officer who lived all his life in very white neighborhoods, he should be a triumph of integration. Instead he has decided that if anyone uses the n-word around him, he has the right to retaliate up to and including shooting them in the head.

Mentally unstable, certainly a risk to keep on the police force, regardless of whether that's why he was actually fired.

Assuming these are in fact his writings... very irrational.

I think that you are both wrong. Often I have found that a persons writings will change from when they are angry to when they are tired. For someone to write the same way through all 23 pages, they would have to be a practiced writer. I would suggest that you give the man a provisional doubt and think about what he has been through and is going through now.

He knows that he will not live through this, for to prove him wrong, the LAPD has to make sure that he is shot on sight and not brought in alive. For if he is brought in alive, he will have an attorney and be able to speak to the press. If you think the press are having a field day with this story now, wait until they would be able to get him in front of a camera. No, the LAPD is going to make sure that he is shot on sight and he will not live long enough to even have his "Rights" read to him.

Well it doesn't matter why he was fired, under no circumstances does he have a right to go around picking off people.

That's the way with cop killers anyway. They are always terminated with extreme prejudice and the system doesn't utter a peep. White, black, green, color doesn't matter.

This guy shot cops. So I would expect he gets the same treatment as any other cop killer.

I have to admit I haven't been following this like a lot of you have, but I've read his manifesto and the report that Anonymous wrote about the other police officer, Evans, allegedly kicking their suspect.

And, I've come to the conclusion this guy has totally lost it.

It sounds to me that he had some psych problems, that he could control or hide, before he was hired by the LAPD and before he went into the military, and may have gone unnoticed.

But, both of these things have totally exacerbated his mental problems.

He is totally paranoid at the very least. And the way he lists people who have done things against him or have supported him is very strange. His high-school principal and somebody named Miranda? Who even remembers their high school teachers or somebody that got you in trouble in high school?

There are good cops and bad cops, just like people everywhere else. But he has really demonized most every cop and everything they do.

And I find it extremely odd that all of a sudden, after Sandy Hook and after Obama's big gun ban push, that this guy suddenly decides to take up the cause?

There's a big piece missing to this entire thing and I don't think it lies with the LAPD.

Could this guy be getting some help from another government department? Is that how he got away so easily?

I have a feeling this is totally not what it seems to be on the surface. And I am a person who very rarely gets caught up in conspiracy theories.

This is beyond weird.

The fact that two people were shot by cops with no hesitation, simply because they were driving a similar vehicle to the suspects proves that he will be shot on sight. He will not have the luxury of a trial and he knows this. Therefore he has nothing to lose by taking out as many people as he can.
