The physics looks good to me. The mechanism is functional and the technical explanation is spot on.

The entire nervous system and human brain is completely addressable.

Yeah, I know. The articles started out with vague reports from targets, then he analysed what it would take in terms of hardware, then focused on the signal.

Now he has established the physics behind it and demonstrates it is possible with current tech, in fact, tech dating back to the 70's at least.

So, all these reports of a medical torture program are obviously true.

They are trying to remote control people.

So, what do people make of the mechanism?

It's only a start of a theory. Interesting, but only a start.

There is a ton of experimental evidence to support the fact that neurons are RF sensitive. There are hundreds of scientific papers discussing the fact.

already in the mid eighties, there was a very rudimentary artificial intelligence hooked up to it, which tried to engage in dialogue with the targets (likewise to eliza). i assume this was an easy way to find gullible victims.

I think DeepThought mentioned that it goes back as far as 1974. The guy who wrote the books behind the Matrix film series may have been a target.

The film the Matrix, which is taken from this authors book, was about a "computer agent" taking over the human body and remote controlling it.

The A.I. may not have been very creative and combined elements of the classified goals of the project into its attack and this is the source of the books.

Its also felt that this may have been used to provide cover for the project by turning it into fiction.

what are you referring to when you say Eliza.. this or something else?

recently I allowed my subconscious mind to have free reign on my computer and just let my hands freely click stuff and eventually it found and downloaded a program called Elyza which is a version of the old Eliza but in C# and updated.. my subconscious mind seemed to know all about it and even made a bunch of updates and edits... it was very strange.

I think there would be a massive difference between a supercomputer computer based AI, with real-time access to peta-bytes of informations and that small app.

Weizenbaums Eliza dates back to 1964..I am asking what this Eliza he is referencing refers to.. I think you might be understating the significance of this "small app" created at MIT and what it evolved into over time.

Given the functionality of the system in 1974, I would assume that general purpose strong A.I. was a solved problem by 1965.

Eliza was most likely a decoy, just like a lot of the neural interface work it does today.
