To the people who put purple hearts on ebay: I would like to think that the folks doing that didn't earn them, but are getting rid of a deceased family members belongings, or they "acquired" them somehow... In all honesty though, its like anything else, it is theirs to do with (those who earned one). I, myself spend the greater part of my days fighting the urge to toss my medals or proudly display them, so they sit in limbo in drawers.
